Although leaving Gilmore Girls and bona fide new hit Smallville on Tuesday remains an obvious (and winning) option, something tells me the frog net is considering moving Smallville to the Wednesday 8pm time period next season. With those girls called Gilmore more than capable of nurturing a new lead-out hour and Dawson's Creek down on Wednesday it sounds like a potentially solid idea. Imagine the possibilities of opening Wednesday with Smallville. And imagine a WB line-up with three solid performers -- 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls and Smallville -- anchoring Monday through Wednesday.
