I got my Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back DVD recently, and anybody here who has the DVD knows the deleted scenes contain several things that would have earned the movie a NC-17 rating. (I still want Kevin Smith to redo the movie on DVD and release an uncut and uncensored and unrated version. I don't care if the movie ends up three hours, I want to see those scenes in the context of the movie!)

Anyway, I can't talk about the scenes in detail, since this is an all ages board, but for those of you who have seen them, you know what I am talking about. And you also know the alternate scene with "Scooby and the gang." Well, that scene is how different from the scene in Freddy Got Fingered with a certain horse? If the ratings board went crazy over Kevin's alternate Scooby scene and made him cut it or the movie would have gotten an NC-17 rating, then how in the world did Freddy Got Fingered get by with an R????? It really makes no sense. Maybe the whole world really is against Jay and Silent Bob!

My guess is that the MPAA decided that no one would go and see Freddy Got Fingered so it wouldn't matter one way or the other.

It's funny it only lasted a week in theatres. I was thinking about buying it, but then I realized Tom Green's all the same.
