I'm assuming you're talking about the SUPERMAN cartoons that Max and Dave Fleischer produced in the early 1940's in association with Paramount Pictures.

While I don't know if they'll be airing on Boomeraction, I DO know that you can purchase them on DVD:

1) The Complete Superman Cartoons -- Diamond Anniversary Edition

This set can be found here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/6305943389/qid=1015518787/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_71_2/102-7126350-0384910

I don't own this myself, seeing as I'm a poor college student, but I have seen a lot of these cartoons, having had videos when I was younger that my saintly parents bought for me. These cartoons are BEAUTIFUL, the animated is smooth and EXTREMELY well done. I can only imagine how incredible Fleischer BATMAN or JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA cartoons would have been.

(Can you tell I'm a fanboy about this stuff?)

I would recommend this DVD to anyone on this board. It's fantastic. The cartoons are brief sci-fi masterpieces, and the writers found a nice balance of power for Superman. He's damn powerful, but he still has to struggle. (Something the current JL can't seem to get right!)

Brief note - you know how sometimes when you're watching old cartoons, they can seem a little racist by today's standards? Well, when watching some of these, you have to understand that they were made in the 1940's, so you have to forgive the depiction of the Japanese spies and jungle savages!

These are beautifully animated. I own a handful of these on VHS and plan to get the DVD very, very soon Actually, EW magazine recently did a '101 DVDs you must own", and the Fleischer era Superman DVD was on the list! And we do see some of the unPC generalizations of the 1940s, but in a world today where everthing has to PC, it is nice to see some bad characrerization now and again. :)

It's about $20, Amazon has it listed at $25 but I think that I got mine for about $20. Just look for a good price. :)
