OK, I was on vacation last week, so I missed the most recent Bob McKimson sighting on "The Chuck Jones Show." But after tonight, I'm convinced some member of the Bob Clampett family must have been assigned to select the cartoons for Jones' show (In fact, showing a Clampett LT with Jones as head animator would have been better than airing "Purrchance to Dream." At least Chuck did touch pencil to paper on the Looney Tune)

Yuck. All they showed today was Jones' post-60's cartoons, when his cartoons got too serious and formulatic instead of just simply silly and funny. Show his 1946-1953 cartoons (which are actually FUNNY), and I'll be somewhat happy.

You know what?
I'm going to offer choosing cartoons FOR CN since they obviously don't even take two minutes to find 3 Jones cartoons.
At least 2 of Jones' modern cartoons came up. I happen to like Now Here This and The Dot and the Line.
...I think CN deserves a little thanks for showing the above two.
