Is it me, or does it seem Spoiler...

Is it me, or does it seem they're building up Spoiler to be the next Batgirl. (nothing against Cassandra, I actually like Cassandra a lot) But for some reason, Batgirl #26 gave me that vibe.

Hypathetically, do you think Spoiler could step up as the new Batgirl? Do you guys think she has potential to wear the cowl? Or is it a terrible idea? What do you guys think?

That would suck. I haven't gotten Batgirl #26 yet, so keep that in mind. Cassandra is not only good, but Steph IS not good Batgirl material. I like Spoiler, but would much rather have her as a Robin than a Batgirl.

I thnk it's just you. Cassie isn't going anywhere. Steph is Spoiler and that's who she will remain.

I said the same thing... that Spoiler would be the not-so-obvious choice to take up the cowl because she's not as butt kicking as Cassandra. In fact, some people probably find Spoiler down right annoying. IMO, she's toleratable and I don't have too much of a problem with her... but why did Batman take her under his wing and reveal Robin's identity to her. It just seems the list of who's running with the Bat team seems to be growing. But like I said, it's toleratable.

Every member is strong physically and psychologically... but there seems to be no-to-little comic relief, no bumbling fool, no one too naive for their own good. Could you imagine, Spoiler could quite possibly be the Vash the Stampede (Trigun) character of the group, which would be such a change in pace.

Call me crazy... but I can actually see this happening. Although I may not like it... could it be a possibilty? Is there potential in Spoiler that we have not yet seen?

Cassandra's been Batgirl for only a short time, so she's not going to go anywhere any time soon. As for Spoiler, I can see her becoming part of the... uh.... "Bat Team", but I don't think that she'll be turning into Batgirl. Oh, well. That's just my opinion. :wakko:

There are a couple of reasons that Spoiler wouldn't take over for Cassie. It's all political and I don't want to get into another debate about it. It's kind of like the Green Lantern in the JL cartoon.

I read Batgirl. I like the character and I also like Spoiler and think they need to stay exactly how they are. There are big plans for Spoiler in the Robin book this year. So if she was to become Batgirl, it's not going to be anytime soon.
