According to a report by Altered States Magazine (http://www.alteredstatesmag.com/mar2002/bandai_digimon.shtml), "Digimon" will shift from Fox Kids to ABC for its fourth season, starting this fall. Disney was so impressed by the fanbase of "Digimon," that they decided to bring over the new series, "Digimon Frontier" to America. The first three seasons were done by Saban, which was acquired by Disney when it bought Fox Family Worldwide. Altered States gave a brief synopsis of the new season:
"At the beginning of the story, the Digi-Destined return to the Digital World to find it in a chaotic disarray. To save it, they must journey to the Spirit World to stop the evil Kerpymon, King of Darkness. Spirits of the ten legendary warriors, who once saved the Digital World, will give power and guidance to the Digi-Destined and their Digimon partners to help them in their quest to rescue the Digital World from darkness."
Expect more updates regarding this, and the rest of the Saturday morning fall lineups when the networks announce their children's programming schedules at the annual kids tv upfronts over the next few weeks.
