when i found out i was mad at those jerks at fox for cancelling it. 1st of all they lied to us, they said that it had good reviews from mags and news papers. 2nd of all, with the x-files series finale in may, hows the company going to make more money? 3rd of all, how can you have a to be continued season finale when the season finale is the series finale? in conclusion the lone gunmen was one of the best fox shows and did not need to be canceled.

Are you talking about last week's episode? It's not the final one, just the first episode in the final 11 that's leading up to the finale.

This was 10 months ago. Where were you?

1st of all they lied to us, they said that it had good reviews from mags and news papers.

They did. Its a simple case of Fox being complete idiots. They said if the ratings reached a certain level, they'd renew it. The ratings reached the level, they cancelled it anyway. This is the same network that cancels shows after 3 episodes (Harsh Realm for example) if they don't get the top 20 ratings, so what do you expect?

2nd of all, with the x-files series finale in may, hows the company going to make more money?

They're at the point now we're they're losing money on the X-Files because the production costs are so high and the ratings are so low. Simply cancelling it will result in them getting more $$.

3rd of all, how can you have a to be continued season finale when the season finale is the series finale?
They'll be airing the conclusion to the series in April as one of the X-Files episodes.
