Ok I thought it was GIJoe the movie so I just got it on dvd. Wasn't he movie I thought. I remember it was split up in like 5 episodes on TV and a bunch of stuff went down and Bazooka got hit or something and said "you made me swallow my gum, now i'm mad". I thought the main villian snake guy from the movie was in it also but might be wrong. Sorry thats about all I remember of it because it was like 17 years ago when I saw it. Also need to know if it is on any of the dvds.

Well, there were four different five-part mini-series that were made for the original 80's G.I. Joe cartoon:
1983's original G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (stand alone mini-series)
1984's sequel G.I. Joe: The Revenge of Cobra (stand alone mini-series)
1985's Pyramid of Darkness (actually the first five episodes of the first full season of the on-going series)
and 1986's Arise, Serpentor, Arise! (the first five episodes of the second season)
None of those mini-series had Bazooka's "Darn it! Swallowed my gum!" line though. That was from the season one episode "The Funhouse."
And if the "snake guy" from 1987's movie you're referring to is Serpentor, then the final 5-parter is the one you must have been remembering in the first place. If the "snake guy" you mean is Golobulus, then I can't help you, because he only appeared in the movie.
And all four 5-parters were included in the Rhino DVD releases from a few years ago (but are currently out of print).
Hope that helps,

Well, the movie was split up into five episodes for the series eventually, with special live action introductions from SGT. Slaughter to fill some time. Oddly enough, the 'movie' episodes were the first ones Cartoon Network aired when they aquired the series briefly a few years ago.
But pretty much most of the series was released to DVD by Kid Rhino, only the final 15 episodes of S2 never saw the light of day before Rhino lost the license. Those sets are out of print now, but can probably still be found if you look hard enough.
