Ideas for 2 new forums

I just got a idea for 2 new Forums Toonzone can make.

1.A Transformer Forum-It's easy to see the 1984 series is making a comeback these days with BW, BM, RiD, and the coming soon TF Armada, and I know there are A TON of TF fans out there.

2.A forum for everything Mon(Pokemon, Digimon, Mon Colle Nights, Monster Rancher, and so mon... err I mean "and so on".)

What do you think of my forum ideas?

1. I highly doubt there's enough interest for a Transformers forum to survive.

2. Again, I don't think the interest is there to support a "Mon" board either.

It's not that often you see "mon" threads or Transformers threads pop up. All of it is welcome here in the AniTainment board for discussion though.

I think this should be on the Feedback and Suggestions board. It doesn't really belong here...

Trust me, they are that popular, if it wasn't, then they would have disappered long ago with the other 80's cartoon shows to only be heard on Cartoon Network's sister channel, Boomerang.(they got their own convention for crying out loud) You just have to look in the right places to know how many TF fans are out there. If you do make a TF forum I'll be happy to help moderate it for you.


2. Again, I don't think the interest is there to support a "Mon" board either.
I geuss we can expand it to also talk about Movie Monsters from past, present and future. Yea, we can talk about classic Movie monsters (Like the first Dracula and Frankenstine), 70s 80s and 90s movie monsters(like Aline, and Predator), to Todays movie monsters.

Also, we don't just give random shows forums for the heck of it. In order for a show to have a forum, there needs to be either a) a subsection of Toon Zone or b) a hosted site that caters to that show and a webmaster who desires a message forum.

Thanks Colin, that's exactly what I meant.

Just for example, there's millions of X-Files fans out there, but it's blatantly obvious to me that an TZ X-Files board would be akin to a ghost town.

I'm pretty sure there's dedicated boards for every show you could imagine. You kjust have to know where to look.

What do you think of my forum ideas? Anything 'mon is perfectly acceptable in AniTainment, and like Colin said, if one of the TZ sites want's to sponsor a board for 'mon stuff, or a site dedicated to all things 'mon gets hosted then there will be a 'mon board. Until then there's still AniTainment.

you guys, there isn't going to be any new forums..

The closest they've come to adding a new forum was the AniGen split...

The only think I could see getting a new forum all it's own would be an Anime forum, but even that is unlikey, as there isn't a TZ anime page.

Here is how Toon Zone gets new forums for shows: We host a website for a certain show, and the webmaster of that site says he wants a message board for that show, thus he gets one. Unless Toon Zone hosts one of those shows from another website, or any show for that matter, I doubt we will see a forum started for it. As Colin previously stated, but I didn't know if it was noticed since the thread was revived.

Since I'm a mod on another board, why don't you mods have your own board where you talk about things ahead and other topics. Of course only you mods can get in ;) .

I think he's saying that something that should exist doesn't exist... altho it may exist, but whether or not anyone can be sure it exists or not is a totally different story
