I thought that this was a pretty enjoyable episode. I didn't mind that they added a little twist with Yusei losing his memory, but I didn't know about that until I looked in this thread either. Considering that he was shocked pretty hard by those other officers at the end of the last episode and was knocked out, it isn't that much of a stretch to make him lose his memory. I did like how Luna was able to feel his cards' spirits before he woke up. I also like their voices. Leo sounded weird to me in the last episode, but it was only like the last two minutes anyway. He does sound familiar though and so does Luna. The amensia bit also worked pretty well with how Yusei was just staring at those pictures of Jack and his dragon. We also first heard of the Fortune cup, which sounded pretty cool and interesting.

I did get a kick with the duel though. I especially laughed with Leo was narrating his own moves in the third person a good portion of the time and his first monster looked like a cell phone. That just made me laugh. I did like how Yusei was slowly able to remember through Leo's stragey of playing weaker monsters in different ways.

Trudge was as stubbon as ever to get to Yusei this time. He was going really overboard with all of the other officers surrounding the area like that. At least through that we saw that Blister was still there. I was worried that he would be arrested or something. It was also cool to heard that Yusei would be given an inventation to the Fortune Cup too.

I liked how Yusei was able to remember who he was as he saw his similar stragety in his past duels in Leo's moves. Though it was awesome to see Yusei use one of his strongest Syncro Monsters to win the duel. And I did like the explination of syncro summoning since that's still fairly new to me and that helped me to understand it better. I did feel bad for Leo since he was so into the duel and thought that he had it won. I liked how Yusei was being so nice to him and helping him out with his stragey. It's a shame though that he couldn't explain everything about him since Yusei was so nice and so were Leo and Luna. Even though Yusei does have that mark on his face, he isn't a bad guy. Some people, especially those with a lot of power, seem to just treat him like dirt, which is a shame since he's such a nice guy.

Of course, Trudge came right out to meet Yusei. I was hoping that they wouldn't duel again. Yusei has beaten him three times already within thirteen episodes. While its cool to see how Yusei beats him and all, I would prefer a longer break, at least, before they duel again, or if they duel again. At least they were interuppted by Goodwin's assitance, whose name escapes me at the moment. I knew that he would make sure that Yusei wouldn't get in trouble, since I'm sure that Goodwin wants him out of the Faculty so that he can see his mark, but I was surprised that they were willing to blackmail him like that. That was pretty cold, but they probably figure that Yusei wouldn't be in the Fortune Cup unless there was something like the need to protect his friends involved. That did leave the episode on a good intense note.

Overall, I thought that it was a good episode. It's true that they altered what happened to Yusei, but it did make things more interesting and it wasn't a huge stretch anyway. The duel was great and the introduction of the Fortune Cup was pretty cool. I'm definitely looking foreword to the next episode.

I pretty much agree with everything Light Lucario said. A very fun episode.

I really liked the Morphtronic cards for some reason ... probably 'cause I'm a big fan of Transformers. A shame it'll probably be another theme that Konami puts into a set that dies a horrible, non-tournament-viable death.

I think we've seen the last of Trudge until, at least, the end of the Fortune Cup story arc. I know, due to my status as an internet spoiler-hound, that we haven't seen the last of him (and that's all I'll say about it).

Yusei never lost his memory in the original?! Wow, that's a shock... what happened in the original?

Anyway, I think Luna's voice is Lisa Ortiz, not sure about Leo though.

Pretty much the same thing, except that Yusei dueled Leo because he reminded him of Rally, not because he thought the duel would help him gain his memory back. Those flashbacks of Yusei summoning weak monsters were added too.

According to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki, Luna is voiced by Kether Donahue, and Leo by Amanda Brown.
