Finally! The next issue of Origin is finally here, arriving on shelves a week from Today. What really surrised me is that a new issue of Amazing Spider-Man is already coming out next week as well, when #38 hit not even two weeks ago. I think Marvel is really trying to get back on schedule. Ultimate Spider-Man #19 came out two weeks ago, and #20 came out today! I think with that getting back on schedule, Marvel wants to be sure that they're big May event issue with the return of the Green Goblin comes out on time to coincide with the Spider-Man movie being released that same month.

ASM though is the Nuff' Said issue. Not looking forward to a book where I can get through it in 3 minutes.

Origin #5 should be good. We should excpect #6 in about 2 months or so.

Actually, ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN went bi-monthly for a month as apart of their "13 issues a year" stunt they are doing this year, instead of annuals. That's why we got three issues of ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN in the span of 5 weeks - which I really, really liked!

And I can't wait for ORIGIN #5...I really hope that we'll get the final issue in April, although I have a feeling it won't be until May. I don't mind waiting so long as long as we have the same creative crew for the whole mini (unlike ICEMAN where the fill-in for issue #3 was really jarring).

i kinda miss annuals

my first comic i ever bought was Web of Spiderman #3

it wasnt a story issue but rather an issue to explain his powers, villians, and other cool stuff like that


very enjoyable as was the cover!

also does anyone remember in the early 90s the spidey annuals had a theme-- the vibranium thing involving black panther, iron man and other cool techno guys

My favorite Spider-Man annual event was Planet of the Symbiotes - I thought they were great. The art was nice, and it was a cool story. I'm sort a Venom fan, and I liked how he got the spotlight here, and his own annual! I also vaguely remember a Spider-Slayer storyline going through the Spider-Man annuals and New Warriors annuals, too. Is that it - perhaps?

My god...how horrible would that be? I just can't wait to get my hands on issue #6! Been waiting for the series to conclude for two months!
