Here's a great collection of funny pictures of kids being scared by Santas. I was never scared of Santa (nor was my brother or anyone else I knew), but I guess it takes just the right--or is that wrong?--Santa to make the kids scream in fear.

This one in particular is pretty darn scary-looking. :D

Numbers 9 and 15 are hilarious.

I myself was never scared of the Santa Claus at our local mall but I was terrified of the giant Easter bunny. The costume had these huge alien eyes that just freaked me out.

Hahaha. Embarassingly enough, there's not only a picture, but a video of a certain time where I was scared of Santa during one time my Uncle decided to dress up as him.

They say because of a child's purity of innocence and ignorance of the world, they are able to see through illusions constructed even by the most skilled wizard or demon. I can only imagine what those children are actually seeing when in proximity of the mock-Santa clones.

I don't remeber being scared of Santa unless its was when I was a baby. I think my brother was scared of Santa when he was little.

I've always been afraid of the Coca-Cola Santa myself.

There's just something too intense about it.

A couple of those Santas were a little scary looking. I can't blame the kids on those examples. :p

I was never scared of Santa, but my best friend (21 years old) is absolutely terrified of him. Whenever we'd walk around the mall and Santa was around, she'd have to skirt the area where he was set up. She gets no end of crap about that from me >.>

Well, I've always been shy so I was a little afraid to go up and sit on his lap, but it wasn't too bad. I think I was more afraid of a "stranger" coming into our house in the middle of the night, even if it meant presents. I'd avoid going to the bathroom or leaving my room on Christmas Eve so I wouldn't somehow see or hear him.

Number 15 made me laugh, someone must have really traumatized those children.

I don't know what happened to it, but I have an old picture of me with santa, I was probably about a year old and I am just screaming my head off. And poor Santa looks like a deer in the headlights because of my actions. But yeah I was afraid of santa for many years probably until I was old enough to know who he really was.

I have to confess the child in this pic is actually much more scarier looking than the santa.

What cracks me up about that last one is that Santa's mouth is hidden by his mustache, so his chin (partially shadowed) actually looks like his mouth, and it makes him appear really freaky! :D

The mall santa from A Christmas Story is a perfect example. Not only does he make kids cry, he has his elves push them down a long slide.

I think it's very disrespectful to the well-being of children to have them cry and then display any pictures of them(the children) in that state for the entire world to see.

These photos are great. I recall as a wee tyke I was deathly afraid of santa though after the onset of age seven I outgrew the fear and instead had an intense desire to try and pull his beard off. Fake or not. :D

Keep in mind that if he was real, he can see you when you're sleeping. Plus he could probably see you when you're bathing or on the John.

I hated Santa as a little kid, according to my parents. They told me they tried to have my picture taken with Santa once and I started screaming as if I was being killed.

Some kids just don't like Santa, that's just reality.

The classic image of Santa came from Coca-Cola, or at least that's what I heard.
