Big changes are coming soon to AnyGen, folks.
To repeat what Jim's announcement already said: AnyGen is getting a new name and look (hopefully within a day or two). Henceforth, it will be known as Cafe Toon Zone the place where we all Toon Zoners can gather to chew the fat over a cup of hot java a slice of warm pie.
To help make the experience more universal -- and not just limited to old WF hands -- we have brought in two mods with experience elsewhere.
Singin' Stray Cat is a terrific desigener and artist who has done more than anyone else to give both AniTainment and the forthcoming Cafe designs a new and distinctive look. She is also a moderator on Toon Zone's other community board, the terrific "Warner Bros. Club."
The Mad Hatter is not a moderator at WBC, but he is an old hand there, and his presence too, we think, will help make this board more inclusive and welcoming to all Toon Zoners. He is also a WF mod, and was a moderator on AniGen before the recent split, so he's a veteran and a professional.
They join me, Jim Harvey (who continues as a moderator even during his hiatus), Calhoun and Nightflower in making the most diverse and (meaning no disrespect to other mod teams out there ;)) I think most exciting team of moderators at Toon Zone.
So I hope you'll join me in giving them all a rousing welcome.
