Anyone think eventully Bleach will do a time jump spinoff series like Naruto?
They are over 300 chapters and 200 episodes, will they eventully decide to change things up a bit, and age the characters a few years and go on from there? I am not saying it is going to happen tomorow, but just a thought for down the line.
Ichigo and company in college, while fighting Hollows? Or should they just end the series in the present time period when they decide to end the series?

Eh I rather not see a time skip. And I am hoping the whole Aizen threat is the final battle for the series, unless Aizen decides to retreat and go to sleep for four years for who knows what reason >_>.
Even lets say the manga did have a time jump and it took place after all this madness with Aizen, I can see the anime not following this and ending. Or maybe Aizen somehow winning the war and taking place in a ruined world needing peace.. or something...
Who knows it depends, I heard the maker of Bleach does not even have a ending in mind yet.

Is there a compelling reason for a time skip? Naruto's time skip was to age the kids into the usual age for the genre, complete with design changes. Bleach's characters are already there, with likely their final designs outside of old age.

There was a time jump, two of them to be exact. There was a one month jump from the end of the Soul Society Arc and the Arrancar Arc. Also, there was another one month jump between the start of Ichigo's Vizard training and the second Espada attack in Karakura Town.
If you are expecting a multi-year timeskip in Bleach, why? There is no actual need for it. The War has started, and Aizen will create the King's Key. At that time, Bleach will either begin to draw to its conclusion...or recycle old storylines with Espada running off to Hell, along with the plot.

Yeah there's no reason to age up the characters... All that might accomplish is give Ichigo's sister's more notable roles... Not really neccessary.

"roles"? I've never see that euphemism for boobies before :p

I see it happening. I mean how else are they going to get around to that Winter War? They just keep throwing in tourney battle after tourney battle, nothing's moving along. And then it's just going to be more tourney battles when the time comes.
I don't think there will be a massive age change in the series like Naruto did though. They already look like they're in their mid-twenties for 15-year olds...

Doubt it. I think Bleach will end with the Winter War, which seems to be on the horizon right now if we can get through with these darn battles in Karakura. But, this is Kubo.... we'll be lucky to be done by Summer.

No, I don't think there will be any major time skips, other than the usual few days/weeks/months of training and recovery time.
As well as flashbacks. There will be more flashbacks, this is Bleach afterall. We haven't got all of Ichigo's dad's story, for instance....
I do think Aizen is the final boss ---when he will be defeated, I don't know.
Bleach definetly as the feel of stretching its plot out for as long as possible right now... how many random arrancar hav been introduced only to die a few chapters later?
Like pretty much everyone else has said, there's no real reason to do a time-skip for the series ....
It makes sense for a series like Naruto, where the characters start out as children, then skips ahead to them as teenagers, but the majority of the Bleach cast is already teenagers or adults,so there's really no point to it...

Well the final boss could end up being the King of the Soul Society; heck the King and who ever guards him would be about the order of beings left in that could be significantly more powerful than the current characters in Bleach's cosmology.
EDIT: oh wait, there's what's ever beyond the gates of Hell.

Hm. This could be true, and because of that I foresee another Yuyu Hakusho ending from this...
And we all know that's not good.

I've often said the only form of time jump I'd want in Bleach is if...
Aizen wins and becomes King of the Soul Society (and by extension all the other worlds), really shifting the tone and setting of the series, having him turn the worlds into desolated wastelands or cardboard utopias.

You know. I really HAVE wanted to see a Hell arc in Bleach. Can't you just imagine Aizen letting himself be impaled in the heart or something, "dying" and having that giant monster from Hell come up and drag him in there with a grin on his face.

That would just give them an excuse to invent an infernal version of the zanpakuto :p maybe made of forged human souls like in Devil Devil...
New villains with another foreign language theme (german, french or maybe some scandinavian language?) :p

I don't want to see the time jump, but I am a little worried. If the battle with hollow finished, what's happend the next?
The story seems to become an end. But there are many characters unclear, maybe there will be more episode to explain all the secrets. Wow...

Oh god, I hope not.
Bleach is a great manga but, unfortunately, has gotten bogged down by "the main artsit must take forever to get to the point" syndrome. It had great pacing during the intro arc and got bogged down a little during Soul Society but managed to be interesting. But Hueco Mundo and above have just been a trial in patience. Look at Naruto and One Piece and how in the last year their storylines are changing and growing (even though Itachi vs. Sasuke got a little...umm...yeah...) but Bleach just seems to be sticking it's feet in the mud to the point that I barely care about the characters. Last thing it need is a time skip to drag the series out more than it has been.
