what's with the production company adding no namers that don't even exist in the comic world to the challange of the superfriends? these no namers include apache chief, black volcan, samurai, and el dorado. what is the point in making up cheesy heros? if the company wanted to add more hero's they should have added space ghost. they even should have added green arrow and plastic man since they made cameo's in the hour long superfriends, after all they're characters in the comics.

It's called ethnic diversity. The team can't very well be all white and male......can it?
Space Ghost isn't DC is it? I don't think that would have worked anyway. Dumb character, just like the "no namers".

Yes, it was all for ethnic diversity. The cartoon was giving Asian-American, Native-American, and African-American kids heroes they could identify with.
And for the record, Black Vulcan was a comic character; his name is actually Black Lightning.
