Okay. That didn't look good. Harley face looks like a man  .
And why an arcade game? I thought Arcades were dead on USA.

An arcade game? Really? What the heck? Looking at the title, I thought it was going to be a sequel to the game Justice League: Heroes, which was a lot of fun.

Not to DC: Quit mucking around and get working on a sequel to JL:Heroes! The first one sold well even though it came out for the original X-Box after the 360 launched so get to it.

I have to say, I'm not in love with the cel shaded art work. If it couldn't be hand drawn, why not just use CGI?

Looks terrible. Most of us will probably never see it.

I have to wonder why they're (apparently) releasing this as an arcade title when arcades are on the wane in the US. Maybe its' distributors just don't have a lot of faith in it; not a good sign.

Plus, I have to say, the artwork and graphics look like turd. And ShadowGUN's right; Harley Quinn looks like a guy in a Harley Quinn costume.

It's like they're not even trying.

I hate to resurrect an old thread, but while out of town on vacation for the holiday, I actually found this at an arcade.

The best way I can describe this, gameplay wise, is a 3D X-Men Arcade with only two players. Just that old-school beat-um-up kind of game. In a good way. It was actually pretty fun. The graphics look a ton better in motion. Not amazing, mind you, but good. Basic controls. Two attack moves ("quick" and "strong"), a dodge move (flying out of the way, rolling out of the way), and a special move. Superman has heat vision, Batman throws a batarang. Pushing "Special" and one of the attack buttons does a different special move (Hawkgirl throws her mace, Superman has freeze breath). Doing a normal special will chip away at your "special" bar, doing a combo special will eat it away, but it regenerates after you stop using it.

It was five characters: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl and Green Lantern (John). Gameplay is broken down into three stages with multiple levels per (kind of like Star Wars Arcade): Alien Planet, City Street and the Watchtower. Each level has a mid-boss and a main boss. I actually pumped a few dollars into the game just to try out each stage and every character. I never even got to the mid-boss in the alien world, but city street's mid is Harley Quinn (the generic thugs are clown-masked punks who climb out of clown cars. Kinda neat) and the main boss is Joker, complete with a battle car with a extending punching glove. Never made it past him to the next level. The Watchtower was easily the best, with the mid-boss being the Manhunters, and the level boss being Sinestro (in complete Sinestro Corps. gear, so it must be pretty new). After he's at half-health, he puts a protective shield around himself and creates a ring construct of you to fight. So cool. After that, it states that the next boss is Braniac, but I never made it to him.

The only real downside is that there's load times (they're not long, but you don't expect it from an arcade game, so it's noticeable) and that once you die, if you want to continue, you have to use the same character. You can't start a game as Batman, die, and keep going as Superman. You're stuck with Batman. To try everyone out I had to just let the continue timer end then restart as a different character. It gave me an excuse to try the other stages, though, but it hinders gameplay a little.

Still, very fun game. One of the best DC games I've played (although with the track record of them, that may not say much), and the game could easily work on a console, so I don't see why they don't just port the dang thing. With it being arcade, almost no one will play it. Heck, it's not that much of a powerhouse, they could even probably throw this on Wii as well, so I don't get it. There's nothing there that screams "arcade exclusive."

A good game, though. If you even have an arcade around you, and on the off-chance it's there, try it. Worth the tokens.

At 0:49 it looks like a bunch of Spidey clones, lol. I guess it's not so bad for an arcade game, right?

Oh lord....Harley Quinn in Static Shock looks ALOT better than that.:ack:

People that hate the Wii for "so-called crappy" graphics should take a gander at this game before even saying anything.

Did she look bad in Static Shock?

But this is from an arcade not another console.

The arcade machine itself looks pretty though...

Nope, she looks like a woman, like she's supposed to look lol. Actually, she looks exactly like she does in the Batman Animated Series and the flashback in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.

My point about comparing it with the Wii is that there are indeed games with worser graphics, whether or not they're arcade or console.
