Some characters from D.C. and Marvel have similar abilities, huh. Let's pretend these guys would fight their doubles. In one on one fights what would happen? This isn't just a who would win question. How would the whole fight go?

Iron Man vs Steel
Black Cat vs Catwoman
Iceman vs Mr. Freeze
Antman vs Atom
(Marvel's first male) Capt. Marvel vs Superman
Falcon vs Hawkman
Vision vs Martian Manhunter
Quicksilver vs Flash
Man Thing vs Swamp Thing
Hawkeye vs Green Arrow
Namor vs Aquaman
Reed Richards vs Plasticman
Any others with the same powers
maybe even
Punisher vs Batman
or
Storm vs Weather Wizzard (I don't exactly know what WW does)

Iron Man vs Steel

Iron man would whoop Steel.

Black Cat vs Catwoman

Black Cat would whoop Catwoman.

Iceman vs Mr. Freeze

Iceman would whoop Freeze.

Antman vs Atom

Atom is smarter. So he wins.

Capt. Marvel vs Superman

Superman.

Falcon vs Hawkman

Hawkman.

Vision vs Martian Manhunter

J'onn J'onnz

Quicksilver vs Flash

Flash

Man Thing vs Swamp Thing

Swamp Thing can think. So him.

Hawkeye vs Green Arrow

In the Silver Age, Hawkeye. But GA is a little more serious now. So Green Arrow wins.

Namor vs Aquaman

Namor would beat the stuffing out of Arthur.

Reed Richards vs Plasticman

Richards.

Punisher vs Batman

Happened. Batman.

I don't think Punisher and Batman are similar. Punisher is far more violent. How about Captain America VS Batman? My money is on Batman. All Cap has is his shield. Batman has everything else!

Careful. These vs. threads have the tendency to go on forever . Basically, anybody could beat nearly anybody depending on the writer. We'll see some of these match-ups, including Cap. A vs. Batman, in the upcoming Avengers/JLA.

Thats an understatement. Check out the Rumbles forum at www.comicbookresources.com for some fight threads that have REALLY lasted.

( Hint: the current Batman vs. Spiderman thread has well over 300 replies )

I wasn't sure, because Batman and Punisher are both humans with no powers, and they're both kind of psycho and obsessed with crime. It is true though, that Punisher is more oriented toward heavy artilery than batarangs.

It just comes down to the question of who's the more popular of the two characters duking it out.

Batman wins it easily. He has more skill, and actually does carry more firepower ( see Ultramarines story arc in JLA ).
