No one for Knight Rider this week?

The introduction of the various Zodiac crew members merited footage being shown on The Soup, but that's not really good thing. I liked the big guy, Leo "I really liked you" but otherwise they weren't a very notable group. The idea of a group of crooks each with his/her own specialization has been done before and done better. The twist of Capricorn actually setting up his team to keep his job and prove his value was different though.

The subplot of Tess Landafly doing an eco-audit around the SSC was just stupid though. Every time I think this place is super secret we find out that 1700 people work there and the government is concerned about their carbon footprint! At least Dr. Graiman didn't actually give her KITT in between make-out sessions. For a bit there, I thought he was actually going to do it.

Oh and Torres was in Washington in case anyone didn't catch them mentioning it. I wonder what the reason cited early in the episode will be when he, Dr. Graiman and Carrie are all absent? :p

i have nothing to say. i still watch it. but i think it's safe to assume i'll chime in a future talkback when an episode references the original series. most likely the upcoming karr episode.

exactly. this isn't the same foundation from the original series. seriously, what is the name of this foundation/government branch anyway? i highly doubt it's "knight research". if they need to revamp anything for the series, they have to go back to the original real knight foundation. a PRIVATE crime fighting organization. keep charles. have him be devon's counterpart and brief mike on missions while billy, zoe, and sarah work in the semi. yeah, bring that back too.

im sure they want the series to be not exactly the same as the original, but some fans weren't even impressed with the tv movie. so i don't think doing everything the same as the original show would hurt.

if the series lasts only one season, then i hope the series finale builds up to a 2 part or 2 hour long episode where michael knight (hasselhoff) and the original kitt return (william daniels and the 82 trans am). that's really all i wanted from this new series since the start.

If you keep up to date on the talkbacks, they are going to be getting rid of Torres, Carrie and Dr. Graiman for the back 9 episodes and give it a feel more like the original show.

It's called the Knight Foundation for Law and Government, or FLAG for short.
