Hard to talk about solicitations when half of them have no solicitations.
Looked like an easy month on me until I got to the $40 hardcover and $10 digest.
Getting
-New Avengers #50
-Deadpool #7
-Captain America #47
-Runaways #7
-Uncanny X-Men #506
-X-Men Origins: Sabretooth: Some of these have been good, and this one looks decent.
-Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 10 HC: YAY!!!! Finally!!! It's been, like, a hear since #9, and I've been jonsing for some Ultimate Spidey, since this his how I read it.
-Mini Marvels: Secret Invasion Digest: Man, these things are great.
May Get/Not Getting But Worth Note
-Black Panther #1: Female Panther? Storm maybe? Still, why bother with a new #1 if the last series was in such low digits?
-Ultimate X-Men #100: They're ending it at 100, huh? Glad I gave up on it during the Kirkman run. Looks like I'm not the only one that did.
-Ultimate Wolverine v. Hulk #1-2: Nice that they're re-issuing them so that people can remember what happened so very, very long ago. Not worth re-buying, but still.
-Fantastic Four #564: Why is a Christmas issue coming out in February?
-Wolverine: First Class #12: Cover of the Month. Very nice.
-Marvel Europe TPB: People should really get this. Wolverine: Saudade and the Daredevil/Cap one were really good. Surprised the heck out of me.
-Deadpool by Greg Land Poster: Want...so...bad....

My comments:
- That's a really cool cover to YTHAQ Young X-Men (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/200902/YNGXM011_COV.jpg). Whoops...
- Oh, wow, a Captain America/V for Vendetta (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/200902/CAPA047_cov.jpg) crossover! How cool! :)
- Marvel TV is a pretty amusing concept, but not one I'm willing to pony up $4 for.
- I thought the Millie the Model backup story in the Spider-Man Summer Special comic was cute and funny. But an entire mini-series (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/200902/MODELSINC001_COV.jpg) about them? Hmmm.
- Ack...Runaways solicitation hits one of my homonym pet peeves ("...has been brewing since issue one and peeks here!"). First time I've seen that particular error, though -- usually, it's people referring to ninja mountains when they talk about a "sneak peak."
- And another She-Hulk series get cancelled. Poor Shulkie can't get a break.
- Tell me they're going to feature Ninja Warrior in Wolverine and Power Pack #4. That'd be hilarious.
- I might grab that Cloak & Dagger HC, if anything for Bill Mantlo's name. Not seeing anything else that grabs me in the Marvel solicits.
- Definitely picking up the new Marvel Adventures: Avengers and Mini Marvels digests.
- Probably getting the Incredible Hercules TPB. I have the first one and it's a ton of fun, but I have no idea if this is the next volume or not.
- Probably also getting the Invincible Iron Man TPB.
Small month for Marvel for me.

I'm amazed that more people haven't chimed in by now with their thoughts on the latest Marvel solicitations. Maybe you're stumped by the fact that we now have 3 consecutive months of blank solicitations on a huge amount of titles following Secret Invasion?!? Perhaps you're shocked at the price increases that are continuing to creep into many Marvel comics? (I know I am)...
Well, I'll share my thoughts now:
On the definitely going to get list:
Avengers: The Initiative #22
New Avengers #50: Extra length issue = $4.99 price tag. Yay.
Mighty Avengers #22
Captain Britain and MI:13 #10
Captain America #47
Daredevil #116: The Kingpin's back...and I've got mixed feelings on that. If Brubaker takes the character in a new direction, then it'll be interesting...
Fantastic Four #564
Ghost Rider #32: Is this Aaron's last issue writing the title? Please, say it isn't so... Also, Cover of the Month!! (http://www.comicbookresources.com/images/solicits/marvelcomics/200902/GHOSTR032_cov.jpg)
Incredible Hercules #126
Official Index to the Marvel Universe #2
Marvel: Eyes of the Camera #4
Nova #22
Runaways #7
She-Hulk #38: I was going to drop this title, but since it's ending in Februrary, I might as well finish my She-Hulk collection...
Skaar: Son of Hulk #8
X-Men: Kingbreaker #3
Guardians of the Galaxy #10
Uncanny X-Men #506
X-Men: Legacy #221
X-Force #12
On the "maybe I'll get it, maybe I won't" list:
Dark Avengers #2: I think I somehow didn't spot this title in last month's solicitations. Does the world really need ANOTHER Avengers title?!? (especially another Avengers title written by Bendis?!?) Is it a mini-series or an ongoing? That $3.99 price tag has me turned off either way...
Marvel TV: Galactus - the Real Story
Models, Inc #1: This will either be incredibly silly, or incredibly cool.
War of Kings: Darkhawk #1: Looks like "War of Kings" is the next "Annihilation" cosmic storyline...dont' know if I want to get every single tie-in though.
X-Men: Infernus #3
DROPPED:
Invincible Iron Man
Thunderbolts
Wolverine: Origins
Hulk
X-Factor
Amazing Spider-Man: I may tune in for the Dan Slott issues, but the love is gone.
NEW TITLES I'M NOT BOTHERING TO CHECK OUT:
War Machine
Punisher
Secret Warriors
Agents of Atlas
TOTAL PRICE TAG:
Going off of just my "definite buys" list, and taking into account my 20% discount my comic shop offers, that brings my total to...
$52.60. Before tax.
My wallet shouldn't be hurting quite so bad by this month...
I'll be glad when SI is finally over so that the solicitations can go back to usual...
AVENGERS: THE INIATIVE #22
DARK AVENGERS #2 - This isn't a definite buy yet as I have no clue what it'll be about [I'm guessing a sort of Thunderbolts team?] - but I'm curious enough to give it a shot.
NEW AVENGERS #50 - Shame on Marvel, raising the price because it's a SUPER SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY ISSUE WOW! I think people would rather have a normal-sized issue for the normal-sized price.
THUNDERBOLTS #129
DEADPOOL #7 - One of the funnest Marvel titles of the moment! But why is it included in the batch of TOP-SECRET POST-SI BOOKS? :(
MIGHTY AVENGERS #22
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #131 - I doubt Spidey beats the Hulk in the same way as he has done a few times in AMZ, seeing as Ultimate Hulk is so savage he eats people :p Cool inclusion of the clone Spider-Woman here, but I guess the solicitation text is hinting at her...
ULTIMATE WOLVERINE VS. HULK #1 - Eh, they're going to start this thing from the beginning again?? I don't see any mention whether the story will also be altered or if it's just a re-print which they're calling an "all-new printing"...
ULTIMATE WOLVERINE VS. HULK #2 - Did this issue come out last time or did we not even make it to #2?
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #585 - John Romita JR rocks (http://www.comicbookresources.com/images/solicits/marvelcomics/200902/ASM587_COV.jpg). But this cover kind of reminds me of one of his earlier AMZ covers (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/85/AmazingSpiderManV2I43.jpg/390px-AmazingSpiderManV2I43.jpg).
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #586
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #587
AMAZING SPIDER-GIRL #29 - This is going to be another very cool story and conclusion, so it sucks that the title is going to be cancelled - again.
DAREDEVIL #116 - Cool cover (http://www.comicbookresources.com/images/solicits/marvelcomics/200902/DD116_cov.jpg).
HULK #10
MODELS, INC. #1 - I'll give this a shot.
THE AGE OF THE SENTRY #6
SHE-HULK #38 - Not that I'm complaining about PAD, but I wonder if this title would've continued on if Slott was still on it... A shame anyway, it's been a great ride!
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #10

If anyone's interested, Marvel posted a teaser article for the Dark Avengers here (http://www.marvel.com/news/comicstories.6190.Who_Are_the_Dark_Avengers%3F). Unless I'm mistaken, it's the first mention of anything relating to the title.
From the images and the teasers, it looks like the lineup is:
Wolverine, Eddie Brock Venom, the returning Clint Barton Hawkeye, Steve Rogers in a Iron Man suit, and I have no idea who the woman is
Granted, though, I'm not really a Marvel Zombie, so I could be really off with those.
ULTIMATE WOLVERINE VS. HULK #2 - Did this issue come out last time or did we not even make it to #2?
Yeah, it made it to issue two. From the looks of it, these two are just re-issues, with #3 coming in March (finally).
