There are many people on this board that don't like Batman Beyond. I think the main reason is the fact that they can't accept Terry as Batman. I wouldn't know, cause I love BB. If it weren't for Batman Beyond, I probably wouldn't even be here, and I probably would have no interest in Batman in general; Even after all the years I've spent in watching the TAS and TNBA series...

I don't like BB, but that's not to say I don't enjoy some of the episodes. It has nothing to do with Terry being Batman. Mainly due to crap plots, crap animation most of the time, and the horrible music. There are a few bright spots here and there, though. I like ROTJ very much, and the animation quality in that is excellent for the most part. It has a few rough parts, but on the whole is great.
I'm indifferent on the rocket boots and as for Dana being hot, well, she's a drawing so I don't think I can get into liking her that way. :D

BATMAN BEYOND is a good show. It's not the same as BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, but I still appreciate it. I could never like BATMAN BEYOND more than its predecessor, but there are definately a good handful of episodes that could measure up.
I mostly despised a great chunk of season two of BATMAN BEYOND. That whole Max Gibson thing never worked for me, and even beyond (ha) that, most of those scripts were just awful. The villains weren't nearly as engaging, and the stories fell flat. Season Two tried to broaden the BATMAN BEYOND universe, but it didn't really succeed.
I don't hate BATMAN BEYOND by any means - but there are only about a third of the 52 episodes that I would actually watch more than once by choice.

I don't particularly dislike Batman Beyond, but I don't think it was mroe than average at best. The writing was rather poor on the show, and it really didn't live up to its potential, IMO.

I enjoyed the show, but there are a number of episodes I won't mind not seein again...
I agree, the rogue's gallery for Beyond was nowhere near as engaging as the classics...but there's only so many knocks offs you can do...
The shear number of villians DC has already created, added to the overwhealming number of Marvel supervillians, whom you have to be aware of less you plagerize, makes for a small talent pool, and some of the bad guys worked, some didn't.

I don't like BB. I tried to watch it and give it a chance but too many things I didn't like. The future Gotham, the writing, the way it was drawn, Bruce Wayne as an old man, boring stories, Terry being Batman, the list goes on. I bought Return of the Joker because it went back and retold the story of the last battle between Batman and Joker (that was cool) but as for Terry being in it, that I hated. I didn't like cartoon spinoffs. Imagine making a spinoff of Superman. Same thing, Superman is now old and discovers someone with powers, takes them under his wing err.. cape and tries to teach them how to do his job. Doesn't seem right? That's what BB is to me. But I don't mind it if you guys like it. What do you guys think?

Erm...aside from the old thing, you're describing Supergirl...=O
and the plot to BB wasn't so much Bruce finding Terry, as Terry finding Bruce....I think alot of people equate the Bruce/Terry relationship to that of Bruce & Dick...but it isn't.
