I love it. Just like the late, great EZ Board (yeah, it's not dead yet, but with its current changes, it might as well be). I think I might set up shop around here!

I don't recall the brand name Luxury, but probably because I was so small and they didn't even use slides before movies played. I do remember Act III, and since Regal is a lot lot worse, I miss them. Especially the CGI opening with the rocket car. (Wish someone would put THAT on YouTube...)
In the last year of their existence Act III got rid of the car sequence and replaced it with an incredibly dull clip of a camera winding through Roman ruins until it stops at a "Dolby Digital" sign. Strange.
I remember many of the "gate" theaters, but my memory can't tell them apart. As well as the super-small mall ones--those I miss less.
As a side note: my dad worked for the Aladdin theater in the summer of 1992 when they used to show old films. I got to see free classic movies on the big screen for that entire summer. It did indeed rock.

Yeah the only scars left of the existance of TML are old Oregonian issues and the plaque on the side of the Hollywood Theater.
P.S.: They're showing Raiders... in 70mm this week.
