IGN (UK) apparently has put up the first 12 or so minutes of the Resident Evil CG movie. Not sure how long these video's will remain up, so I'd probably recommend checking them out while they're uploaded.

To be honest, I'm both impress and not impress. The CGI is pretty impressive for the most part, but it is a little stiff in some areas. The acting seems fine for the most part, though I would have figured that Claire would've acted a bit more freaked out by being put into this situation once more. Then again... she had to experience this more than once. Guess she's probably used to it by now...

Some of those people are awfully uncanny valley. I guess it works for a horror film, but I'd much prefer a stylized Advent Children route.

From the trailers, I was already prepared for such setbacks. Wait until Leon shows up...you'll be playing RE4 soon after just to see him talk normal again. Although I had to look away from their mouths in Advent Children too, so...

That aside, it looks like Claire gets the task of hunting down a kid who won't sit still through the whole movie. Again.

A lot of canon stuff in the first twelve minutes that was noticibly absent from the games, like the President accepting the consequences for launching a nuclear bomb on an otherwise innocent-looking town (because that's what it would look like to the general public).

I'm going to wait until I can just see the whole thing in one shot. I've never been big on watching 10 minutes to something unless I am unsure of it.
