Who'd be the best live-action Batgirl?

Well, I say I would be a great Batgirl/Barb Gordon...but that's just me... :rolleyes: Anyhoo, I know who Natalie Portman is, but the other name doesn't ring a bell. Alizee is pretty, and I like her smile. She could fit as a good Batgirl/Barb...depends on how thick her french accent is, I'm assuming she's french because of the site. I'm not too sure about Natalie, though. What about Alicia Witt? I've heard that there are a few Batfans that wouldn't mind seeing her in that role. Or what about the girl whose already been designated in that role for BOP, at least? There don't seem to be too many objections about her, though I have yet to really see a good pic of her to tell myself.

Don't like any of those options. Alyson Hannigan (Willow from Buffy) is too... Willow. Natalie Portman isn't right, and the only reason that other chick is up there is because you are obsessed with her.

Allyson is the "It will be just like This one time..." girl from American pie. And she also is Willow in Buffy the vampire slayer.

To tell you the truth, i've never really heard Alizee speak English. In one song she sings "J.B.G James Bond Girl". And i've noticed that she pronounced Girl more like Gal. But not in the populair American way, but more like G ahh L. It's hard to describe, but i hope you get what i meen.

I don't know Alicia Witt, sorry. I also haven't seen BOP yet, but i personally would like to distant an live action Batgirl based on the animated one from any astablished Batgirl/Barbara actresses

If you really want to talk about this Alizee girl, take it over to the AniTainment board. That's the place for music, movies, animation, etc.

I've only seen Alicia Witt's face, and from looks alone I think she could be a good Batgirl. But I've never seen her act, so I'm not too sure how well she'd fit.

She's on Cybill, actually, I think she even plays Cybill. One of her earlier movies was Mr.Hollands Opus. She was the girl who played clarinet really badly. Also, she's a genius of sorts, seriously, she is incredbily intelligent. One buddy of mine loves her, and says she'd be great for the part and that she is a good actress, I have yet to see so for myself though. I'd think it would be better to have a no name actress for the part though, because if you get an actress someone knows, they'll associate her with the movie or series that made her big. Like, instead of saying, hey, it's Batgirl! They'd say, hey, it's Willow from Buffy, or it's the girl from Star Wars! That kind of thing, which can sometimes hurt a show, not to mention the actresses.

Yep, you've got a good point there.
Well, since not many people in America know who Alizee is, i guess that would classify her as unknown in Hollywood.
Then again, there will be a lot of fans complaining about the fact that Alizee is too young to play Batgirl, since she's only 17.
On the other hand you could make it take place in BTAS at the beginning of her career. Then she'd almost be the right age. since Babs was about 18 then.

But someone unknown would indeed be the best idea. That way, you could search and search untill you find an actress with the right face, voice and body to play TNBA Barbara.

Allyson Hannigan is a pretty good choice, but only if she wore like 15 billion lbs of make-up!!! Dont get me wrong, she's aight, but Ill always think of her as Michelle, and she's not that pretty. But in the last ep of Buffy: Season 1, allyson had a lotta make-up on, and she actually looked kinda hot.

nah, red hair shouldn't be a factor, cause you can always dye hair. Hey, I'm an unknown actress.....*hint hint*...anyhoo, everyone keeps talking about which actress they would like for the cartoon version of Babs, what about the comic version?
