I think CN's copy of the computer colored Wholly Smoke must have been left on the roof of someone's car.

Doesn't CN have an AOL address that you can contact them with?

As if they'd reply. I've waited a VERRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYY long time for a reply to my e-mails...

P.S. the address is ToonNet@aol.com I believe...

It would've been nice to see "Hare Ribbin'" today, since the cartoon is 57 years old today. They could also play "Happy-Go-Nutty" on TEX AVERY tonight, since it turns the same age today, as well.

Why does Cartoon Network show redrawns at all? For example, if they HAVE a computer colorized version of "Smoke", why don't they show it? And the rest...why show those at all? Why not send them back to WB with a request for the computer or B/W copy?

I happen to have the 1990 colorized version of Wholly Smoke (from when Nickelodeon used to show LT's). This was where they cut the Cab Calloway scene but left in the Indians surrounding Porky. In the WB-7A version (which outright stinks), both scenes are cut, possibly intentionally as was the re-release from 1967. I'm not sure if CN had anything to do with it.

What's more amazing is that along with Wholly Smoke, Porky & Daffy and Porky's Duck Hunt are both shown as being recolorized in 1990. Why CN does not show a redigitalized version is beyond me. Just don't start smoking in the meantime.
