Nobody wants to discuss the old shows for some reason. I'm not putting this in the retro section, as the show isn't very old. Anyway, this episode is available on Cartoon Network Video until Monday. I'm feeling too lazy to get a link. :D

This episode was brilliant. The stupidity of the citizens of The City Townsville was hilarious. It reminded me of the stupidity of everyone on Invader ZIM.

"So that's how we'll destroy the monster! If we make him take a bath, his toast will get soggy!"

:p:D:p:D

There's a CN Video thread for things like this.

No, I'm discussing the episode itself. I didn't make a topic to advertise that it was on Cartoon Network video. It's just the place where I most recently saw the episode, and I mentioned it, as it's available. I used the search function, and I couldn't find a topic for this episode.

Yeah but it's on CN Video anyways, and grouping them all in there can prevent a large mass of topics on individual retro episodes.

So we're not allowed to make topics for canceled Cartoon Network shows? :crying:

So we're not allowed to make topics for canceled Cartoon Network shows? :crying:You could make a general topic for those shows, but episode talkbacks for non-CN Video exclusives are no-gos.

I think that any episodes airing on the CN Video Thread should ONLY be discussed on the CN Video Thread. Shows that have cancelled shouldn't have their own talkbacks like this because they've already had one at one point or another. We can discuss this episode and other non-premieres in the CN Video Thread, but making separate talkbacks for them isn't really necessary IMO.

So yeah, carry on.

Tednut, the stupidity of the citizens is supposed to be humorous. However, I never liked how the intelligence of Blossom and Buttercup often outweigh the Kindergardener age. Bubbles is the only one that acts her age, and even then she sometimes doesn't. Maybe the Chemical X made them smarter? Then again, that wouldn't explain how a 5 year old knows about water and electricity. They don't teach that stuff in kindergarden.

Well, their father is a pretty capable scientist. I'm sure the Professor taught them the basics.

It's seriously not that hard to get, and it should only take teachers a half-hour to teach kids about electricity and water. I know the townspeople's stupidity is supposed to be humorous, but it's just annoying and frustrating to me, as it was to Powerpuff Girls.
