I like the name of the title for the next story arc. I think it says alot about the Flash and Green Lantern. Opinions?

my thoughts exactly
although the brave thing applied more to the man without fear himself, HAL JORDAN
but john seems to be fairly fearless himself =)

I have no doubt abouts about your opinion. Flash could be at best described as bold and you can never doubt that GL isn't brave. :)

I don't think it says as much about Flash and GL as it does about the writers reusing comic book stuff (stories, characters, names) but then pulling it completely out of its original context (which isn't *necessarily* bad, but does tend to be).
In case there's anybody who doesn't know:
Brave & the Bold (like World's Finest) was the name of a comic book series published by DC Comics. It originally featured non-super heroes like Robin Hood, before becoming a superhero teamup vehicle (for example, Martian Manhunter and Green Arrow teaming up) and eventually it settled down to being a Batman and guest-star teamup book for many years.
After it was cancelled, it resurfaced as a gritty-heroes team up miniseries (Green Arrow, the Question, the Butcher, etc, iirc).
How does this relate to Flash & GL? Well, more recently, there was yet another Brave & the Bold miniseries, featuring Flash (Barry Allen) & GL (Hal Jordan) through the years that they had been friends. That's pretty much the only Flash & GL connection the name has, though the name has a much much stronger correlation to teamups with Batman.
What's next? An episode titled "DC Comics Presents" named after Superman's teamup book? (Featuring of course, Aqualad and Scooby Doo or some equally improbable pairing that has nothing to do with Superman.)

Yeah that's true, whenever I hear "Brave and the Bold" I think of Batman, and the rest of the team of slackers...j/k.
Flas and Lantern Never came came to mind until this epiode, AND up until recently, I had no Idea that Batman would play no part in it. Stinks.
