Just started watching Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (or is it Reservoir Chronicle Tsubasa?) on DVD (library rentals), and I have a question or two about it.

1. Exactly how many memory "feathers" are there in all?

2. Is the manga still running, or is it over in Japan? How about the anime?

3. I recognized some of the Tsubasa characters from other CLAMP manga/anime I've either watched or read. I know Mokona from Magic Knight Rayearth is in the series, but do the Magic Knights themselves (Hikaru, Fuu and Umi) appear as well?

Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (or is it Reservoir Chronicle Tsubasa?)

Neither, the anime is called "Tsubasa Chronicles" (despite how FUNimation labels it, that is how the Japanese called it). The manga is Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle.

It's never specified, as far as I know. As many as is needed to progress the story, really.

2. Is the manga still running, or is it over in Japan? How about the anime?

The manga is still running in Japan, though it is coming close to ending. The Bee-Train anime adaptation (which you are watching) is over as of season 2. Production I.G. is doing a series of OVA releases that continue the story, but are a more faithful adaptation of the manga than the Bee-Train counterpart. Tokyo Revelations is the first OVA and is 3 episodes long. Tsubasa Shunraiki is the title of the second OVA and won't be out until next year in Japan.

There are a lot of Rayearth cameos in Tsubsa, but as far as I recall Hikaru, Fuu and Umi themselves never show up. At least, not yet, anyway.
