Jeff Probst said it well get 20 seasons. No Survivor.... wow. Do you think it could keep going? This will be the biggest series ending since Seinfeld.

Probably long enough to get to SURVIVOR: MARS. :p

IMO, the only reason why this survivor's getting notice is Ken.

I think a lot of us TZ members want Ken to win. He's a video gamer!

What about the penis?

I know. Even my parents, who were pretty much addicts early on, have since abandoned it. The fact people still refer to it as a "reality series" continues to baffle me. It's more or less a game show than anything else.

What about the penis?

I won't even ask.

Yeah, I thought of the same thing. I know that they still make seasons of Survivor, for some reason, but I didn't think that there were a lot of people who still watch it.

That would get me back into it. I haven't watched the show since All-Stars.

I actually just started getting into the show when All-Stars aired. I'd seen a few episodes of the show before, but All Stars was the first season where I watched nearly the entire season. I don't think I've missed an episode for any of the subsequent seasons. I know my mom just recently got into the show a few years ago. See, even though some people may be getting sick of the show, other people are just starting to discover it.

But, seriously, you haven't watched since All-Stars? You missed some great seasons. I mean, admittedly, Vanuatu, kind of sucked, but Cook Islands was awesome because it was the only season that divided up the teams by race. Then Fans v. Favorites was awesome because of all the blind-sides and the stupidest moment in Survivor history.

I'm actually kind of disappointed that I missed some of the earlier seasons. It sounded like they had some neat twists. I've read that in some of the earlier seasons they would actually vote back people who were previously voted off! That sounds like a crazy twist. Why don't they ever do that in the newer seasons? I know some obscure cable channel picked up Survivor and began airing reruns of it, but I'm sure I don't get that channel.

Eh, I outgrew Survivor long ago. What's better is the underrated Big Brother, which is five times more trashy, but also five times more addicting. What helps is that it's live, airs three times a week and lets you really get to know the contestants. The format as well denies the usual majority rule that makes it more unpredictable than Survivor. Unfortunately, it'll get cancelled before Survivor does...

I really wanted to follow survivor this year, but I just haven't been able to make time for it.

I think my problem was Cook Islands was the *first* season I ever watched. And after a season ending like that, everything else has been kinda tame...

I've watched Survivor a long time. I think I started watching around Season 2 which was Australia. A few years ago I watched Survivor Borneo (The Original) on OLN and really enjoyed it. That means I've seen every season of the show and I've enjoyed it the entire time. I guess it doesn't get tiring to me, but people I know that watched it stopped a few seasons back.

How Long Will Survivor Be Around? It will be around until it is no longer profitable and stupid people stop watching or die off.

Okay. That's that I guess.

America's Funniest Home Videos is still on, despite being not only old as dirt but obsolete -- you no longer need to get through a TV show filter to have a famous home movie. Just push a few buttons on your computer keyboard.

If AFV can make it, Survivor will live up to its name.

America's Funniest Home Videos is still on,

It is? Holy crap! I thought for sure it would have finally died as soon as Tom Bergeron started hosting.

Bergeron has actually been great for the show. He's very funny, as is the show.

I stopped watching the show years ago before Bob Saget even left, but from his initial hosting duties on FX when it first launched back in the mid-90s and later Hollywood Squares, I thought Bergeron lacked any kind of good hosting skills. I find him dull as a brick.

What about all the smart people who watch it?
