I wasn't planning to see this one (or Tomb Raider, or The Animal) but, what can I say, I was bored. It wasn't bad. Jackman was good in it. Travolt was, well, Travolta, doing his Bad-Guy thang. Frankly, I'm getting a little sick of seeing him. Hallie Berry was sufficient as well. The other parts could have been played by anybody.

I'm becoming a real Hugh Jackman fan. He's very good here, in fact. He just needs a good movie to be in.

The movie is pretty uneven, but some scenes were good. Like Travolta's opening monologue and Jackmans hacking stuff.

I'm sure most of you have heard about Hallie Berry's infamous topless scene. It's in there. And, yes, it's totally gratuitous. I don't get why it's such a big deal when celebreties do nude scenes. It's not like we don't have a good idea of what they look like nakid. But, it seems "sex sells."

I was waiting for an X-men reference, seeing as how Jackman and Berry are both in each. Some in-joke about Jackman growing out his sideburns or something. But, there wasn't any.

The one thing I really liked about the movie, was that they kept Jackman's character believeable. Aside from his hacking skills, he's just a regular guy. We can relate to him and sympathize with him, because he's not doing super-hero stuff all the time. And...

*Possible Spoiler*

...we're gratiously spared a climactic, physical confrontation between Jackman and Travolta. Travolta plays a super-killer type who'd wipe the floor with, hacker, Jackman. I'm glad they didn't insult the audience by having a fistfight at the end. It would have been about as believeable as Q beating up James Bond.

I pretty much agree with you, it was an okay movie and the only thing that really made it stand out was Hugh Jackman. I also liked the guy who played the head FBI agent.

As for Halle Barry, I didn't see the point and personally was dissapointed at her topless scene...
