Hey guys,

I'm new here, but I'm a long time fan of Space Ghost. These last few seasons, Williams Street has been producing fewer and fewer episodes of the show, but they seem to just keep getting better and better... I'm hoping that the show isn't going to be last priority or cancelled, but recently there hasn't been much sign of the next batch of episodes.

What's the deal? I certainly hope WS doesn't stop creating, in my opinion, their best show.

They're so incredibly bogged down with Toonami, ASC, ASA and other side projects that work on SGC2C is almost always on the backburner.
The reasons the newer episodes are better is looser language/violence standards and much more time to write scripts. Quality, not quantity.

i do agree with the 1st post.Williams street has kind of produced good episodes but some new ones are lacking.Like take Mom-entary for example.id say 99.9999% people hated it.If episodes were more like curses and pilot, space ghost would be the best show around.

I have actually heard a few rumors float (heard them at Comic-Con during the Adult Swim meeting) that this was teh last season of Space Ghost. With so much fan support though, it seems doubtful.

[indent]"Mom-entary" should not be a basis for the latest Space Ghost episodes. It was a really cheap way (just record a commentary track over an existing episode) to get a new episode on the air. Think of it as an experimental episode like "Table Read". Some times they hit (Table Read), sometimes they miss (Mom-entary), but you have to give them credit for trying. You won't seen many other outlets for stuff like this.

The only real problem with "Mom-entary" is that it wasn't funny.
Simple, huh?
I'll be waiting for more episodes like "Sweet For Brak" whenever WS gets around to making them. I'd rather have a hillarious new episode every month or two than to get a new one every week, and have them suck.

Yes Table Read was funny, but I hae so many questions about how the show is doene. For God Sake how do they do the intereviews, I've wondered this since I was just a wee redneck!

Answer pieced together from many unknown and forgotten sources
At the beginning of the series, they had a guy in a Space Ghost suit (I don't think it was George Lowe, but it could've been), but that caused too many of the celebrities to laugh too much. Now it's just a normal person or two.
There are a few stupid questions asked, but it's almost like a normal interview.
All the zanyness is added in Post (hell, the entire show is pretty much Post-Production).

It was Andy Merrill in the SG suit.

And for example, the ep. "Pilot" with the American Gladiators had them laughing and calling him "creampuff" because of how ridiculous the Merill looked in the outfit.

So, was Andy Merrill the guy in the Space Ghost suit seen so often on Cartoon Planet?

Yes.
Seeing him close up, mask or not, scares me.

You know,I think it's a Cardboard Cutout of Space Ghost nowadays. As people comment on SGs Cape, powerbands, etc on the show, they probably just look at a life size cardboard cutout. I mean I don't think the Interviewer says 'Ok,imagine a yellow cape,2 powerbands, white pants...'

Sg will be cancelled sooner than later, unfortunatley.
