One reason I'll be glad when "Secret Invasion" is over, is because then maybe the solicitations will return back to normal [unless by the time SI is over, the next event is gearing up to begin]! Not displaying any solicitation text or covers for a bunch of my favourite titles really takes the fun and excitement out of viewing the solicitations when they are released...

DARK AVENGERS #1 - Eh, what's this? A possible result of Secret Invasion perhaps? For time management and wallet management reasons, I'd rather that not that there'd be a third Avengers title, but because I enjoy the other two consistently, I'll at least check this one out.
MARVEL SPOTLIGHT: DARK REIGN - No clue as to what this is, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the "Dark Avengers" title and I saw some mention of "Dark Reign" further down the solicitation page.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #584 - This sounds like it'll be a great story to tie up all of the plots which were started in the first three months of BND :)
AVENGERS: THE INITATIVE #21
DEADPOOL #6 - After reading the first three issues, this is quickly becoming one of my favourite titles each month, it is THAT much fun!!
MIGHTY AVENGERS #21 - No Bendis?? Hmm... Well, it doesn't bother me that much, as I have a higher regard of Slott anyway.
NEW AVENGERS #49
THUNDERBOLTS #128
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #130
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #582
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #583 - Oh yes, a John Romita SR cover (http://www.comicbookresources.com/images/solicits/marvelcomics/200901/ASM583_cov.jpg) *drool*
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: EXTRA! #2
AMAZING SPIDER-GIRL #28 - I think this is supposed to be the last issue of this title :( Even though the solicitation text doesn't mention anything special about it...
SPIDER-MAN: FEAR ITSELF #1 - Wow, this is turning into a big Spider-Month
AVENGERS / INVADERS #8
DAREDEVIL #115
INCREDIBLE HERCULES #125 - Darn, I want to drop this title as it isn't as interesting to me anymore as it was just after WWH ended - and because I'm finding it hard to read as many comics that I used to since I started working full-time - but this issue just sounds like too much fun!
MARVEL ZOMBIES 3 #4
SHE-HULK #37
THE AGE OF THE SENTRY #5
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #9
KICK-ASS #7 - I'm enjoying this book enough, but I still don't understand how it managed to get a movie deal so quickly? Reading through Millar's comments in the back of [I think it was] issue #2, there was already talk of a motion picture back then! Maybe it's because I live in the Netherlands, does this book get major publicity in the USA or something??

My comments:

- Someone remind me to read those Paul Tobin shorts on MarvelKids.com to see if I should buy the Super Hero Squad One-Shot. I like Tobin's work in general (his little story in Spider-Man Family involving a pile of female heroes and leads drawn by Colleen Coover was a hoot), so maybe.

- Speaking of that one-shot, it looks like it's getting reprinted in the Spider-Man: Amazing Friends Digest in case you missed it.

- The best part about the SUPER SEKRIT PLANS at Marvel (NOBUDY CUMZ IN HERE (http://www.banzai-institute.com/)) is that it makes it so much easier to skip past a great big bloody chunk of the solicitations. Then again, I do that most of the time anyway.

- Tee hee hee hee hee (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/200901/MARILWWOZ002_cov.jpg). Oh, I can't wait for that Eric Shanower/Skottie Young team-up trade.

- 42 years after letting Tiger hit the jackpot (http://www.samruby.com/Spiderverse/MaryJane/MJJackpot.JPG), John Romita Sr. proves he can still bring the hotness (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/200901/ASM583_cov.jpg).

- re: Amazing Spider-Man: Extra #2. "Even with three issues a month, there's plenty of Spidey's world left to explore." The question is, "Should we?"

- Bwah-hah-hah (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/200901/BHSIX005_cov.jpg).

- I'm down to Incognito #2 before I find anything I want to buy.

- After hearing so many good things about it, I'm tempted by the Captain Britian Omnibus, but that's a mighty whopping chunk of change. Then again, I didn't regret the Howard the Duck or Uncanny X-Men Omnibus purchases. My only question is whether we'll be sure that this reprint won't have the assorted omissions or errors that the earlier ones did.

- Hey, Marvel is bringing Captain America: The Truth back into print, and in a Premiere HC, even. I thought it was flawed but really hit all the right notes by the end, even if media idiots tended to judge the whole series from the pitch and the first issue alone.

- While I'm down with the Daredevil: Born Again Premiere HC, I'm also thinking that this is about the 3rd or 4th time it's getting reprinted, innit? Will anybody who didn't get either the Miller DD Omnibuses or TPBs or whatever really get this instead?

- Man, even with those SUPER SEKRIT PLANS, these solicitations feel HUGE.

- Marvel Adventures Triple Threat Digest? Sure, why not?

- If you were not smart enough to get the Agents of Atlas HC when it came out, you now have a chance to redeem yourself with the Agents of Atlas TPB. You'll thank me.

- Wait, a Wolverine: First Class TPB Vol. 2? Was there a Vol. 1? And did I buy it?

- New Hulk Visionaries Peter David TPB. This is looking like a more and more expensive month for the Marvel pre-orders.

- Normally, I'm a humongous Art Adams fan, but his Agents of Atlas poster (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/200901/AOATLAS001-poster.jpg) leaves me oddly cold, even though it has a gorilla and two hot women in it.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #582-584
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: EXTRA! #2
CAPTAIN AMERICA #46
MARVELS: EYE OF THE CAMERA #3
PUNISHER: WAR ZONE #5 & 6
PUNISHER #1 - i guess this means it's the late 80's/early 90's for the punisher again. an overflow of punisher titles that no one will read or care about. ennis is what made the punisher. they need another "big name" creator for a punisher title. i'm only getting this because it's issue 1. i don't think i will be around for the arc. is this new series to take place of war journal (not solicited this month)?

MARVEL MASTERWORKS: THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN VOL. 1 TPB - hahahahahaha. i have a paperback edition of the vol 3 or 4 masterworks that i think was a barnes and noble exclusive. and that was in the clearance section for 5 bucks. i think it's a little to late for tpb masterworks marvel.

ok, and one more thing. how come when i go and copy and paste the dc titles that are in all bold and caps, the lettering goes back to lower case when i click post??

Yes, the new Punisher title replaces Punisher War Journal, so it's not quite like the early 90's, (when we had 3 Punisher titles on the shelves). And hey, Rick Remender may not be enough of a "big name" right now, but he's growing on me...here's to hoping this is better than Fraction's "War Journal" title.

Anyway, here's what I'll definently be getting this month, (let the wallet trauma begin)!!!

Amazing Spider-Man #582-584: It's been a good first year, and I look forward to the conclusion of the many of the "Brand New Day" plots!
Avengers: The Initiative #21
Invincible Iron Man #9
Mighty Avengers #21: Now with 100% more likeability, thanks to Dan Slott!!
New Avengers #49
Thunderbolts #128
Uncanny X-Men Annual #2
Amazing Spider-Man: Extra #2
Avengers/Invaders #8
Captain America #46: You mean...they're actually going to do a plot that doesn't involve the Red Skull?!?! FINALLY?!?
Captain Britain and MI:13 #9
Daredevil #115
Ghost Rider #31: Sweet cover! (http://www.comicbookresources.com/images/solicits/marvelcomics/200901/GHOSTR031_COV.jpg)
Ghost Rider: Danny Ketch #4
X-Men vs. Hulk #1
Incredible Hercules #125: "The United States of Amazonia"?!? Lord, how I love this title...
Marvel: Eyes of the Camera #3: So wait...is this thing 4 issues long, or 6?!? Please tell me it's 6...
Nova #21
Official Index to the Marvel Universe #1: About. Frickin'. Time. When was the last time Marvel published any of these, the early 90's?!? These are a welcome site for continuity freaks like myself...
Punisher War Zone #5 and 6
Punisher #1: I'll at least try the first issue...
Runaways #6
She-Hulk #37
Skaar: Son of Hulk #7
Secret Invasion: War of Kings, (one-shot): It's more cosmic stuff by the hit writers of Nova and Annihilation: Conquest, so it's sure to be a good read!
Guardians of the Galaxy #9
Astonishing X-Men #28
X-Men: Legacy #220
X-Force #11
Wolverine: Origins #32
X-Factor #39
Wolverine: Switchback (one-shot)
Wolverine: Manifest Destiny #4
Kick Ass #7

On the "maybe I'll get it, maybe I won't" list:

War Machine #2
Spider-Man: Fear Itself: What's the point of this one-shot? What the hell does Spider-Man have to do with the Man-Thing?!?
Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel #3: Still undecided...
Dr. Doom and the Masters of Evil #1
X-Men: Kingbreaker #2: It sounds like a fun mini-series, but I don't care for that $3.99 price tag, (not when there's no extra pages)...
X-Infernus #2: Ditto what I said about "X-Men: Kingbreaker"...
X-Men/Spider-Man #3: Those solicits may win me over yet: It's a call-back to the 90's era, as Mr. Sinister teams up with Carnage...

if that's the case, i'll give this new series a shot then. i really got punisher war journal for the heck of it. i was planning on dropping it after the secret invasion tie ins anyway. i guess i'll see what becomes of this series. i'm sure i'll pick it up and continue to get it for years for the heck of it. i can give this new title more of a chance than the max title. i will not trade up with ennis on a punisher max title. unless it's an "established/big name creator" doing a story. and the new title for the max series is dumb. "punisher: frank castle". shouldn't it be "frank castle: punisher" or "frank castle: the punisher"? jeez...

i hope marvel isn't "shaking things up" in the punisher titles simply because of the war zone film. i don't remember such a push for the punisher comics when the 2004 film came around.

I'm getting...Ultimate Spider-Man 130. Yeah, that's about it.

But I'm mostly posting to this thread because I hadn't yet seen this cover (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/200901/WOLVNDY_MPHC_DM.jpg) pointed out yet. It could've been easily avoided had they simply used the cover art and say the Wolverine logo, but instead they use the fully done up version, and end up using a version that has the wrong name on the cover credits?
