This is the talkback thread for DVD News Roundup: "Aria the Natural" and "Scooby-Doo: Where Are You" V.1 in Jan '09 (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=26651).

The original Scooby-Doo series had 25 episodes. The Volume One could have easily had at least 10 episodes on it, instead of a tiny 4. And I don't care for the Get A Clue! extra on the DVD. No comment on Aria the Natural, since I never saw it before. :shrug:

Not that it matters, 'Where Are You?' is already out in complete season sets. These new *smaller* releases are just for the casual buyers and parents who just want to keep their kids occupied for the afternoon.

However, I am kind of irked that they're going this route instead of working towards getting the rest of the seasons out that haven't seen the light of day on t.v. in years, most notably the Scrappy era episodes.
