Considering the long history this network has with terrible ratings stunts which one do you think is the worst? Personally, that Celebrity Boxing thing has got to be the worst thing they've come up with yet.
*sigh* Remember when they were a respected network? Wait...they DID use to be a respected network, right? Or is my mind playing tricks on me again? :p

I don't think they were ever respected. I think the worst thing is a toss up between marrying a millionare (and the guy who did that is playing some of the local comedy clubs here in Kansas City. I guess that is his new job!) and the glutton fest.

Definitely the "Marry a Millionaire" thing, because it not only mocks love, but the institution of marriage.

Marrying a Millionaire sticks out in my mind. So does that "Who wants to be a Princess." This new Tonya Harding vs. Amy Fisher looks like it might hit rock bottom though.

Geeze, its almost impossible to choose. The "glutton bowl" was vile, but "who wants to marry a millionaire" insults social conventions and institutions. Of course "temptation island" was pretty bad, and so will the "harding vs. fisher" boxing event. So much crap.....too hard to decide.....

I have to agree with Fox's attempt at pimping..."Who wants to marry a millionaire". I know that's exactly how I pictured my wedding day to be like
Yea, Fox has done some stupid things
Least we forget, though.........
Tiny Toons. Fox
Batman the Animated Series -Fox
Animaniacs- Fox
I might add, the sound quality on BATS and Animaniacs was enhanced, if you had sterio tapes, you can actually hear the difference of these, when they were broadcast on Fox, and Kids WB...the sound on Fox, was much clearer, deeper, with more effects...That cost money, and they took that risk to spend that money....I give them more credit than you, yea, stupid they are, maybe now, but for us on this board, they made some great decisions.....STuart

You are right, FOX had a lot of good stuff going. But the things you listed were almost ten years ago (more in some of those cases) FOX is now famous for the lowest form of entertainment.

By the way, Paula Jones is taking the place of Amy Fisher.

Glutton Fest, definitely. It's too much like the Wing Bowl--an annual cholesterol gorging that the local sports radio hosts every football season. It's bad enough when it's blaring on the stereo and all you have are the nasty sounds; when you see it... ugh. Just ugh. As much ugh as you can possibly have, it applies.
Temptation Island (a.k.a. Survivor Gonnorhea) is a very close second.

The "Glutton Bowl" hit rock bottom. Eating contests are one thing, but the crap that the people on the show were supposed to eat was just for shock value. It's like Marge Simpson said:
"Fox turned into a hardcore sex channel so gradually, I didn't even notice!"

But I pulled for that scrawny Japanese kid! Heck, he was a digidestined.
Come now, was there any doubt that Tah-Kay-Roo Ko-Buy-Yah-Shee* would win? Sheesh!
* apparently the announcer can'tr even pronounce a Japanese name... :rolleyes. Considering it was FOX, they should have just called him TK. And for the record, it was Takeru Kobayashi.

I thought that was MTV? :p
I haven't respected Fox for quite awhile now, 99% of it's stuff is lame, boring, stupid, or just flat-out ridiculous.
