Ok, talk about overkill!

I was just watching Fox, and they actually had a commercial for a commercial. That's right, they had a commercial to announce that next week they'll be showing a commercial - the new Episode II trailer. How ridiculous is this??

I just saw that too  . Even the one about the celebrity boxing event. Vanilla Ice versus a mystery opponent? Oh I can't wait  !

They did the exact same thing when they premiered the Spider-Man trailer. Instead f plugging their entire Thursday line up, they just plugged the trailer airing on Thursday.

Thanks! :D

Back on topic, Vanilla Ice. VANILLA ICE. I thought he was frozen in a block of ice (Austin Powers).

That does seem kind of silly, no, very silly, to run a commercial for another commercial. But, trailer's are not exactly a typical commericial either, so I suppose that's why they did it. Nowadays, people really get hyped up when they see trailer's because they're like mini-movies. I guess they just really wanted to advertise it as such. Though it still seems silly.

Hmmm...maybe the TV Guide should start including air times of the commercials so we be sure not to miss them!

But it's a new trailer man! A NEW TRAILER! *runs around room excitedly*

Phew...anyway, I can see why they advertised it. Why? They're going to milk Star Wars for all it's worth..so why not advertise it to pull in more crowds..?

Right on, Bird_Boy! Yeah, I know, it's a stupid stunt- but I turn the channel after Malcolm's over so I'd have missed it. So, in that respect, thanks FOX!....
