Hey there,

Maybe someone can help me here. I'm searching for some Disney-shorts made in the 1940s (mainly for the "Office of the Coordinator for Inter-American Affairs"). As far as I know they are all public domain but not available on any DVD.

The Amazon Awakens (1944): Produced under the auspices of the Coordinator of Inter-American affairs. There are a few animated sequences in this film, and it was made by the Disney Studios (one scene uses the music from "Bambi"), but it is surely not an animated film or cartoon in the usual sense.

Infant Care (1945): Produced under the auspices of the Coordinator of Inter-American affairs. Careless Charlie was the main "character" Disney used to present health issues in the CIAA shorts.

Portuguese Reading Film 1 (1945): Produced under the auspices of the Coordinator of Inter-American affairs. Fight against illiteracy in Brazil. (Part 1)

Portuguese Reading Film 2 (1945): Produced under the auspices of the Coordinator of Inter-American affairs. Fight against illiteracy in Brazil. (Part 2)

Tuberculosis (1945): Produced under the auspices of the Coordinator of Inter-American affairs.

Something You Didn't Eat (1945): This short was sponsored by the Cereal Institute (Office of War Information, War Food Administration).

I found Infant Care here on Archive.org: http://www.archive.org/details/gov.ntis.ava04519vnb1

The website is a great place to find all sorts of things - public domain cartoons, old versions of websites, crappy TV programming from the '80s and '90s, etc.

@Max Goof: Wow, thank you! It's a shame - I know Archive.org but I didn't know that they have "Infant Care" there.

I hope someone can help with the rest?

Ummm...... I don't mean to be nosy, and I might be breaking some sort of ruler hear, but why are you looking for these cartoons? They seem to mostly be of the After-School Special Variety...

@Radical Raven: I know that these cartoons aren't very popular but I'm doing a research about them - that's why I'm looking for them.
