Well, not all that bad after all. Now, they're airing THE CHINESE NIGHTINGALE, another early-MGM, but so far from what I've seen, this has several Chinese stereotypes! I can see why this is airing now late at night. Now how about some more un-PC cartoons, CN?

Anyone notice they're showing a commercial after every cartoon now? After every three cartoons, they usually just go to the next cartoon without a commercial break.

They probably ran a commercial between all the cartoons because the early Happy Harmonies are all two-to-four minutes longer than your average LT, so there wasn't enough time to squeeze two cartoons into one space.

Hopefully, next week's Acme Hour won't be two hours worth of 1939-42 Harman-Ising cartoons. We'll see.
