View Full Version : Would you watch a Power Pack animated series?

After reading plenty of the comics I've come to an understanding that this is possibly the most marketable superhero concept next to Spider-Man.
It's just perfect with the characters, costume designs, plotting and story concepts. It just works.

The art style is very Ben10 but you know what? I like these guys more than anyone from Ben10.

Really? Ben and Jack Power are actually a lot alike.

Anyway, I'd read it if it were like the recent miniseries. I never got into the original version.

Yeah, but I think I'd watch pretty much any Marvel animation.

I'll watch anything, as long as it doesn't suck.

-One catch, though: I would prefer it if it were like the Fox Kids pilot in which the Power kids' parents were aware of their kids' superhero activities. The whole "we have to spend half the series hiding what we are and what we do from our parents" shtick is beyond tired, not to mention next to impossible, when the Powers have 4 kids, each of whom possess superpowers. When all 4 of your kids start acting strangely and making up weird excuses about where they've been, you're going to suspect something.

i only read volume 1 of runaways and that was really really good comic, i'd love if they made it into a DTV or a show...i will not pick up volume 3 though because i LOATHE humberto ramos :mad:

...............Well Im all for Loathing People...But why Ramos, He's just doing the art...not writing the stories...& V3 has been pretty good so far....I admit Ramos may not be the best....But it beats me why somebody would LOath him?:confused: OH welll...Personally....I loath Many people.....But mostly Celebriteis....Never Comic book or manga artists...Never!...but i digrese:p

Yep, if done well I'd probably watch it. Even though I was not in the targeted age bracket when the original Power Pack series came out, I did enjoy them quite a lot. Not familiar with the new series as I stopped collecting comics years ago due to lack of finances.

If the series did get made, they have to do an adaption of the one Uncanny X-Men issue where Katie Power helps out Wolverine against Lady Deathstrike and her goons. I loved that issue. (UXM #205 (http://photos1.blogger.com/hello/60/9459/640/xmen206a.jpg))
