We all have some old cartoon tapes lying around that we like to think are rare and hard to find. What are some forgotten gems that you have?
I recently found a broken copy of Journey Back to Oz (an animated sequel to The Wizard) and a working copy of that old "Puff the Magic Dragon" movie. I really want to find an old tape I used to watch that had the children of all the WoOZ characters in it.

The Oz Kids? Meh. I liked the concept, but I thought the final products were far too boring. They basically stretched out a twenty plot to ninety minutes each time. It would have worked better as an actual Saturday Morning Cartoon.
For me? I found a tape of old Saturday Morning Cartoons, or rather, a few of them. I miss 'The Mask' and 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes'.
But on the storebought tape front:
- The Mask: TAS
- Earthworm Jim
- Muppet Babies
- Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue
- Beetlejuice
And others I'd have to dig around to find.

I need to go through a slew of my old recorded-off-the-air tapes before too long; there are likely some old and relatively obscure episodes of things there. They likely include:
Conan the Adventurer: Straight-ahead fantasy adventure, pretty well executed for what it was.
Zorro: Relatively short-lived but surprisingly good series from 1997.

I had Pokemon VHS in a rare yellow box once.
I also had the first Watership Down TV show DVD once too.

I am the proud owner of two Swat Kats VHS. I also found a few Digimon VHS in a department store once real cheap.

The Oz Kids... that was what it was called. All I remember is that I loved the concept of Glinda's daughter bordering on evil:evil: .
Don't know how obscure this really is, but I recently found a tape with some Donkey Kong Country episodes on it. Pretty good show, actually...
Oh, and The Last Unicorn:sweat:

I think that I have lots of old Disney channel stuff on recorded video but I am not sure we have that anymore. I also have the Rugrats: All Growed Up and I think the behind the scenes special recorded on the night it premired.

I have an old VHS copy of an animated "The Secret Garden" movie released by ABC Video back in 1994. And there's no information on it AT ALL on the web. Anyway, the movie is actually pretty good. :)

Well, i dont have many videos on tape, but i do still have the "Iron Giant" from when they used to show it over and over for 24 hours straight on toonami once a year. Every single commercial was for "The PowerPuff Girls Movie" lol!
