Scooby Prequel and Alien Force Live Action?

We're not into the new year and already I'm seeing the new live-action trailers of the live action Ben 10: Alien Force and pre-Scooby-Doo live action movies coming next fall.

Who's interested in seeing them?

No, these guesses can't be right. I expect some older stars to play the main cast. I think CN should at least work on finding someone to play a new Grandpa Max and to improve on the CGI on the alien creatures or at least get some good looking make-up for actors that will play them.

Yea, they were awesome. I'm a bit upset that they're not going with the "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" approach for the prequel though; it would've been cool and it would've stuck with Scooby Doo's continuity.

The Alien Force live action movie looks good, a lot better than Race Against Time did.

Oh and AntN, they're both premiering this year I believe, not next.

*Sigh* Wasn't the live-action Scooby-Doo movie enough? (I thankfully missed out on the sequel) Do we have to suffer through a dreaded "how the gang got together" story? It's time like this that I wonder how Cartoon Network produces anything quality (The Clone Wars [to an extent], Chowder) at all.

I don't mind that something on the network's live action as long as it has a direct correlation to cartoons, which this does. That being said, I don't mind if CN airs the LA Flintstones movies, LA Scooby-Doo movies, LA Alvin and the Chipmunks, or the LA Garfield movies.

I don't know too many kid actors right off the top of my head, but there are plenty of kid actors near the age of 10-12 that they could've used.

The one thing I know is that CN probably won't find anyone as good as Linda Cardellini or Matthew Lillard because they both played Velma and Shaggy to a 'T'. Plus who can match Cardellini's hotness from the films anyway?

I think the Scooby cast has already been announced (unofficially or officially, I don't know), but I think this thread is appropriate for all discussions. But since it deals with both the Scooby movie and the Alien Force movie, which are unrelated besides the fact they're LA, maybe it'd be best if we did make two separate topics. Mods??
