....is probably my best alternative at improving my drawing skills at this point. I've sort of reached an impasse where I don't seem to be improving and I'm having a hard time maintaining the level I'm satisfied with at any given attempt.
I guess my drawing is never going to be good enough for me personally, and I was hoping this board could give me some feedback as to how to improve a bit. I've got all the "practice makes perfect" and "draw from life" advice I can stomach, and I'm trying, but I can't get any of my friends to model for me, and given I'm a Comp Sci student who wants to be a writer, working two jobs, my time is stretched kinda thin.
Anyhow, I'd appreciate it if anyone could take a look at some of my stuff and throw some feedback in my direction.

i didn't get to look at all of your drawings but i did get to check out a good number of the black and whites and some of the color ones...don't be so hard on yourself lol..you have a good amount of drawing talent in you..my advice would be to work on the perspective angles and proprortioning of body parts mainly..i noticed on some of them that the angle of the legs and arms was off and a little too flat looking. if you get stuck for a formula, just keep remembering that all drawing is is just putting buidling blocks together piece by piece...no matter what something looks like it's always one or a combo of the basic shapes..jus draw cubes, cones, cylinders etc. first then throw on some details...not sure if your already familar w this stuff, but it never hurts to keep being reminded of this...drawing is alot more simple of a process than people sometimes percieve it(or some people make it try n seem ;) )

as far as coming up with your own style..just keep doing what your doing..your on the right track. keep copying the style you love the most. theres nothing wrong with that.. eventually your own style and formula is going to evolve out of copying. so def keep up with that...

and try throwing in some versatility too.dont work too much in one area..break out into drawing animals, cars, landscapes. realistic studies, catoons, etc. just to keep yourself fresh..otherwise, you'll get tired and frustrated with drawing and might give up on it alltogether...
