Well that's a relief. The last thing we need in CN spending all their money on a dud.

Yes, now we know that Cartoon Network didn't spend most of their money on a dud. I'll be watching the series for sure. ;)

Great reviews. My anticipation for the show can no longer contain itself.

Strange how on my site's review staff, I decided that The Secret Saturdays is more worthy of two reviewers(Foggle and I) while Clone Wars only really needs one(ensatsu-ken, but I'm watching nonetheless) I personally thought that TSS was a more anticipated show than SW: TCW, older-viewer wise, but after seeing all the hype and money CN's putting into it this time, I guess it'd be safe to say that I guessed wrong. Maybe I should put both reviews as tag-teams.

We run reviews on a volunteers-from-our-staff basis, and more people were keen to look at "Clone Wars" than at "Secret Saturdays." BTW, Jacob's "Secret Saturdays" review has now been published.

That's sort of what we do at AR. My staff and I choose whichever DVDs and special televised events we want to review ourselves, as we don't have the budget to buy EVERY DVD that comes out. This isn't always positive, though, since sometimes more than one of us want to review the same piece, and sometimes none of us want to do either. In fact, in a rare example of leadership in action, it was my decision on who should review each part of You Are Here for tomorrow, and I'm also trying to make sure that we get our articles in by Sunday afternoon, if not Saturday night.

For example, it was hard to choose between whether or not ensatsu-ken, DaemonCorps, or I should look at the season 2 box set of Yu Yu Hakusho, with both he and I being big fans of the show, but in the end, I'm deciding to let him look at it, since he's more experienced at YYH than I am and Daemon's already reviewing season 3 of Avatar as well as possibly the Dragon Ball Z double-feature that recently came out as well. We also never got a review for Fly Me to the Moon, since the four of us had little interest and not enough gas to see it. To those who do read my site's blog, though, you should look for his YYH review by next week. Just putting that out.

There are also some instances that we have to make sacrifices. I wanted to buy the Duckman boxset that recently came out to give the show a chance for myself, as well as buy the upcoming Sleeping Beauty rerelease, but my budget's not in it right now to do either. I'll be lucky to buy Ouran High School Host Club's first release at the end of the month, but fortunately my birthday's coming up soon, so I can save some of my money from that on the set. Since Animation Revelation isn't as well-respected as Toon Zone, we don't get DVDs or advanced screenings ahead of time, so we aren't able to get in as many reviews as we wish we could, but we'd like to think that we take what we do as seriously as you and the rest of your colleagues do.

Sorry I drifted on for so long, but as you can see, I take my site seriously and respect it, it's staff, and it's members, and wish the best for it and it's blog. Who knows, maybe one day, Toon Zone and Animation Revelation could co-exist in peace.:)

TIME Magazine rates the Clone Wars series a C-. Oh well, it's a better score than the movie.

!! A big time magazine gave this a bad review?? I had high hopes and I've always kept the (remote) possibility that this could not do good, but what if this does fail?? You know how much money will have gone down the drain??

Yeah but the series is much better than the movie.
