I caught the last 10 minutes or so this morning and the show seemed cool, it had a few cool enemies and the animation was right on, my question is, is it good? Would I like it being a fan of action animation or is it too kiddy? I like cool villains, cool battles and a good plot, does Ben 10 have all this? Please let me know so I can decide if I want to buy it, thanks!

It's all right I guess. Not bad for a new show overall. If you like playful adventure shows and stuff done from the people who worked with the Batman crew, it's probably a worthwhile buy. But Alien Force, the sequel show, totally pwns it. That one is the REAL DVD necessity, but it's not out yet. Obviously though, that will change one day. IMO

Definitely! It's a great show and I've already bought the first two seasons. It's a good value because you get 13 episodes for only about $15. I'd say go for it, but it's your money.

Watch a few more episodes from each season. If you still like the show, then you should totally buy it.

Well, I bought it! It was only 11.99 at my local walmart so I said "what the heck!". I gotta squeeze it into my new wedsday cartoon watching time but I look toward and will try to catch episodes in the mornings as well as the new series.

I don't like Ben 10 as much as Alien Force since Ben and Gwen were so annoying to me for the majority of the series. Still, the first series has some good episode, Ken 10 for example. I suggest to watch some more episodes and see if you still like it. If you do, then getting the DVDs would be a good idea.

Yeah, Gwen especially was pretty annoying. She was just so...arrogant and condescending...I won't complain about Ben too much though. I could relate to that kid...He's a little too sure of himself much of the time, much like myself sometimes.

It's good yet i feel that they could've done better job with the show, you might like all of the characters but at the same time you feel annoyed by them when they fight or be a smart*** to one another and also the writing is too dull since some episodes are just plain stupid.

I can say that Ben 10 is better than it's sequel Ben 10: Alien Force.

Ben 10 and Ben 10 Alien Force are different in the style. Ben 10 has more kid jokes, while AF is more darker in tone.

They are both action / comedy, but Alien Force comedy is more for an teenage audiance.

I agree on this. If you watch the original series followed by Alien Force, it's a jarring difference in tone and atmosphere among other things. The original series mixes its serious moments with enough lighthearted, fun moments to stay balanced. Sadly, AF cuts out anything fun from its predecessor and fills it in with more seriousness and perpetual night. Also, the characters seem completely different, even beyond the reasonable maturity the timeskip could allow. Gwen is no longer snarky, Ben acts like he's got a pole up his butt, and Kevin, whose reemergence leaves questions in itself, is a just a ******.

It may be harsh, but I'd say if you get and watch the original Ben 10, either forget what you know about the series if you choose to watch Alien Force or skip it.

Quoted. For. Truth. The only thing I can add is how much cooler and creative the alien designs were in the original.

The one thing I like more about Alien Force is Kevin. Personally, I think everything he says is hilarious.

Well, I watched the first episode this morning on my DVD and really liked it. Ben find the watch while on vacation with family and turns into some really cool aliens while saving the day. The main enemy guy kinda looks like a modified Davy Jones LOL.
