In your favorite television show, is there one episode you like better than all the rest? If so, what is it?

I'd say Electric Soldier Porygon from Pokemon. Visually, it's very different from the rest of the series... with its stark sci-fi backgrounds and all.

Batman: Its Never Too Late

First episode that really brought the light of the real world into a cartoon...to me anyways. It dealt with drugs death...lots of stuff

"Future Tense" -Gargoyles
The episode was so dark and intense, especially the part where you see Broadway with no eyes.

Daria. Tough call, but I'll go with "Dye! Dye! My Darling!" We see Jane's new bleach job (was I the only one who thought it wasn't that bad?), Daria's first kiss, and a friendship tested. I knew even then those two wouldn't last, though...two different rungs on the socioeconomic ladder...just asking for trouble, querida....

Pokemon: Toss up between "The Mandarin Island Miss Match" (with the busty Prima) and "A Better Pill to Swallow"(Jessy and James get high on illicit substances--uncut Shuckle juice--and Meowth gets a little too friendly with James!)

Jackie Chan Adventures: "The Dog And Piggy Show". Very Uncle-focused...plus we meet Hok Fu, the Black Tiger....

Samurai Jack VI--the one where Jack meets a bewitching beautifu lwoman during his quest for a gem which will crush Aku once and for all...and she turns out to be his worst enemy in disguise. That one creeped me out on so many levels....

Upright Citizens Brigade. A man gets a full-body massage, passes gas during it, and then discovers he can't stop ripping them off. Watch for the scene with the CGI flower shooting itself in the "head"!

I've got tons more....

Hunker down, everyone. It's a long list.

MST--"The Skydivers". Great host segments, especially the Swing Choir face-off, and some very funny riffs.

Xyber 9--(tie) "The New Kingdom" and "Ikira's Secret". Any episodes that played up the surrogate family aspect of the series appealed to me, and these also had the best back & forth between Mick & Ana. Quinton Flynn and Nika Futterman bounce off each other rather well.

Batman--"It's Never Too Late". Dang it, this one made me cry at the end.

Red Dwarf--(tie) "Quarantine" and "Game Over" (not quite sure on the title). The first one was just plain funny, and the second showed that there are worse things than being stuck on the RD.

The West Wing--It's a tie between "Celestial Navigation" and "Noel". The episodes are both pretty much centered on my favorite character. (Check out my sig.) But they are so different. "Celestial Navigation" is laugh out loud funny with an emergency root canal, a horrible press confrence, and the President being cranky. "Noel" is intense. I cried after watching that episode.

This is the only show I have a definite answers for. I can't think of a favorite episode for any other show I watch because I like too many of the episodes to have to choose, but I'll watch "Celestial Navigation" and "Noel" over and over. I don't think I'll get sick of them.

Now, I have Carol of the Bells in my head. Excuse me, tissue moment...

yay! Quarentine rocked! I want a Mr.Flibble puppet! Oh, was the episode called "Back to Reality"? (The one where they think Red Dwarf was a VR game, and Cat first becomes Dwane Dibly)

okay. here goes
1)Invader Zim- "Plague of Babies" that has to be the coolest thing iveever layed eyes upon. it had everything that show has to offer. plus, who doesnt find rabid, vicious babies funny?:p
2)Aqua Teen Hunger Force- "Attack of the Mooninites" if any of you have seen this episode, i don t need to explain :D
3)Neon Genesis Evangelion- cant really say I hav a fav episode, but around the 16-20 episodes were so damn impressive, i still cant find an anime series that impressed me that much
