Just for the fun of it... let's consider how the melee battles in "Injustice For All" will play out. :D Who do you think is going to get the first strike? I bet that the Injustice Gang will get the first attack, in an ambush. I can see the JL going to the destination of the fight (for some reason that Lex Luthor cooked up), but it's... too quiet. Then Batman says, "Wait! Something's not right." Then RAT-TAT-TAT-TAT! Joker jumps up and starts firing a tommygun. The other JL members are not impressed, but as Batman disarms Joker with a Batarang, Joker says, "Yeah, I knew that move was too easy for you, Bats. But try THIS on for size!" Solomon Grundy busts out of the ground right behind Batman, and sucker punches him! Green Lantern is the next to step up, trying his patented "hold the villian in midair at a distance" move. But as he's getting his beam focused on Solomon Grundy, Star Sapphire shoots him!... At this point, all the IG members have surfaced from their hiding positions, and a full-scale melee is on.

...

Or, how about this beginning to the battle?

Just like before, the JL approaches the battlefield, and Batman says "Wait! Something's not right." Then, out of nowhere, shadows come out of the ground and from behind trees and attack Wonder Woman and Flash! Superman says, "What the...?" as Ultra-Humanite punches him across the field they're in. Martian Manhunter then steps in to try his "stomp the villian into the ground" move, but just as he's about to land on Ultra-Humanite, Star Sapphire attacks with a beam!... A full-scale melee battle ensues, but, in the back of the battle, Batman's about to advance (once he finds a way into the mix without getting himself killed!), but then Joker comes up behind him and says, "Let them have their fun, but you're MINE." And those two go one-on-one as the rest of the JL and IG engage each other melee style.

What does everyone else think? I'd love to get some choreography ideas on this thread for these battles! :D Please? :D

I meant to say that The Shade attacked Wonder Woman and Flash with his shadow attacks (but I guess everyone knew that). :)

I kind of pictured the Injustice Gang taking on heroes one at a time or in small groups, getting thejump and utilizing their superior numbers. Like maybe Flash and GL are responding to a distress call (oh, no an elephant fell in a whole in India...j/k) when the IG jumps out and kicks their buts till they run away.

Then you have Clark at the DailyPlanet when Lois (to get her on the show) mentions a natural disaster somewhere. Supes goes to the rescue, but finds the IG was faking it, and they proceed to gang up on Supes and knock him around.

So after a few of these outnumbered, one-sided encounters the entire Justice League assembles and you get one massive battle with the JL coming out on top.

Besides, how much better of a cliffhanger can you get than having the Injustice Gang standing over a battered and beaten Superman, closing in for the kill?

That's an excellent point, and would be a smart move on the Injustice Gang's part to isolate the Justice League into groups of two (and three) and take them down basically one-at-a-time by outnumbering them. But what would be the fun in that? :) I want a full-scale, 7-on-8 melee battle! That's the main thing I'm looking forward to in "Injustice For All"! :D

I agree that you just HAVE to have that all-out throwdown at the end of the episode. I only think they should make maybe two attacks (the second one being my Superman idea) and both should be in part one. That way in part two you have the League reeling. Their toughest member just got smacked around like he's nothing. The Injustice Gang will seem much more threatening that way.

Besides, in that final battle I'm sure Supes will be mighty peeved. I can picture him saying somthing like, "Now it's our turn" and the JL springs into action.
