Oh man, I haven't played MK in many years now. I've got a weakness for girl fighters, even if they tend to be crappy. I used Sindel the most, Sub-Zero, and then Kitana.

Eh...I didn't play the video game, but once I finally saw it, loved the 1st movie....(the 2nd one...er..uh...yuk)

What? Someone else who likes Sindel? I've never met anyone who likes her. Only people who hate her and me for using her. I was a master with her. They hated it when I took flight. The only female I ever hated was Sheeva

The first movie was decent, the second movie I saw on tv a few months ago and it was horrible. At least Scorpion didn't die

Scorpion was always my fave....but in MK4, I liked that bald guy..ah nuts..what's his name... *runs to look in booklet*

Quan Chi! Yeah..Quan Chi...his fatality is he rips off your leg and beats you with it..mwhawhahwhahw..

and in that fan room? if you do a button combo w/ anybody, they pick you up..swing you around..and your body gets chopped up in the fan.....

Anywho..I enjoy playing w/ Scorpion and Sub-Zero the most..too bad I suck w/ em'.. :(

then again, MK wasn't my fave fighting series...

I've never met anyone who likes Jax with his stupid and rather embarassing metal arms and silly grin.

Whether it be on video game, celluloid or anime, the guy is a total humilating heap of worthless button pressing pointlessness.

Did I mention the fact he looks stupid?

Reptile was always my favorite, but they ruined him in MK4. What was with the horrible character design?

He's always worth a good fatality.. I don't care about them as characters, but Jax was great with the uppercuts. I think I used him the most back in the day.

My favorite Character has always been scoripon, and then it became a tie between him and Reptile. I played Mortal Kombat 4 and laughably beat it with everyone in under an hour, using a strategy called "Use Lui Kangs Bicycle kick, in every round because in the 3rd round the AI gets stupid and let's you use the move again without blocking" ..

I just picked Lui Kang and beat everyone until the last bossl, I'd lose on purpose and pick who evers ending I wanted to see.

Thia next game, MK 5 is suposed to be good, with a new fighting engine, less comedy and compelling storylines that open up movies when you beat the game. I can't wait. I'm still going to miss those that Ed Boon.. Whooopie..thing that popped on the screen for no reason in MK 2.

Are you kidding? I love Sindel! :) She was butt-ugly, but she had nifty moves. Like when she's floating in the air, and no one can attack her, but she can send fireballs down. I used her sonic scream a lot, because I was cheap.

Yeah, the first movie remains my favorite video game movie, but the second just looks like a B-movie. The animality at the end was so bad, I couldn't bear to watch... good thing it was useless and lasted for all of five seconds.

I've always liked Street Fighter better than Mortal Kombat. I think King of Fiighters was the best fighting game though. The characters were all cool, and all their moves were much better than any other characters in a fighting game.

Has anyone seen screen shots for MK5? It looks awesome. The humor is gone and the blood and gore will be cranked up. I read about it in a video game magazine someone had

All the fatalities will be new and the game will be radically different from previous MK games, becoming more 3D in the process, but I don't think it will be able to compete with Virtua Fighter, Tekken, and Soul Caliber.

Hmm, favorites? Well, I guess Princess Kitana (I programmed that kick where she'd come out of the ceiling into my friends GameShark and totally abused the move), Sonja, and Liu Kang.
Least favorites would be Rayden, Chameleon and Sub-Zero.
The best finishing move was Reptiles acid-wash digestion thing, and the best background was the fan-room (if you landed an uppercut).

I always liked Sub-Zero, but in MK3 thay unmasked him and gave him different suit(BAD MOVE MIDWAY) but in UMK3 they brought his cool masked version.

I loved to Freeeze Shao Kan when he taunted me and then kickc his but :D

Hey, my bro loved to annoy me with Sindel, and usually won. :P

I always liked Smoke myself...yeah, lame, but grey is cool. Then came Liu Kang, and afterwards Kabul *however you say his name*.

And yes, the subway was excellent. In fact, the series was fine to MK3, then they brought back all the Ninjas and more in the next versions...it was never good again after that, since they kept introducing a new color of the month every game or so. :(

I liked Smoke cause he was just like Scorpion, only with Smoke

After beating my friends with him, they would cry I needed to take someone different. That someone would be Smoke :)

I've always been Sub-Zero, I'd keep freezing my friends until they would start threating my life. I would always say "If you don't like it, then find a way to beat it". Of course they never could though. :D

That's how I am. I didn't like the look, but the unmasked Sub-Zero brought some good moves. The ice rain made a lot of people mad :)
