durring the good hours and then leave BTAS and STAS for the 1 am timeslot??

i mean why not show us STAS and BTAS DAILY instead of some of that garbage they show in adult swim???

at least then it would be on before midnite =P

I wouldn't call Adult Swim garbage, but I am extremely disapointed with this timeslot. The truth is, the 2-3 A.M. doesn't bother me, because I'm always up at that hour on Saturday anyway (although I can see why that might make some people mad), I'm, just pissed it lost its great 11-12 spot. That would have fit into my nightly schedule perfectly.

I wish I could figure out what's so good about Scooby Doo that they have to show 2-3 episodes a day. That could be Batman or Superman time.

Those That Be must hate action shows with depth, and the audience isn't much better. Majin Buu a better villain than Lex Luthor and Joker? That poll was rigged!!@#!

11 to 12 weekdays would have been perfect

actually im thinking 10-11

11-12 is my Fraiser/Seinfeld Hour
12-1 is Homicide Life on the Street

so 10-11 is perfect since i dont watch local news

Superman and Batman were shown on weekdays last year, with considerably incredible ratings. Why they took both shows off is a mystery. But I like the fact that they're airing the series in order. The timeslot should be right after Dragonball Z on Saturday mornings.

Yeah, I agree. With the high ratings for JL, why not show more Superman and Batman? CN is turing into the Scooby-Doo / Flintstones channel.

I was happy back when Fox was playing BTAS five times a week. I think it was early evening.

First of all.

JL doesn't get "high ratings". JL got a good "first month". Much like Invader Zim started with a 4.0 in May. By November, Zim had dwindled down to 1.2 a week. It's almost the same story with JL.

Second of all, CN is MOVING AWAY FROM a "Scooby Doo Flintstones Channel", not TOWARDS.

A lot of people that use that statement in here are just SILLY.

Have you watched Cartoon Network years ago?

Back then, THAT WAS ALL THEY HAD! HB shows, lots of Scooby, Flintstones, you name it. The only original production was Two Stupid Dogs, which wasn't even initially on Cartoon Network, but was syndicated!

Scooby now only plays 3 times a day, as opposed to 5 or 6. Isn't that good enough for you people? Geez! They're doing all they can.

Flintstones only plays ONCE A NIGHT. So how could CN be turning into "The Flintstones Channel"? That doesn't even make SENSE.

As for the daytime hours, I have a feeling CN is going to be putting something new there, but I don't want to say it, because I don't want to be wrong or misled or what have you. But I'm sure that Scooby won't always be played at noon, let me just say that much.

I'm sure the move of Batman is Toonami-related. I think Batman Beyond's stay at Toonami is almost up.

Yeah, I agree with Matt on the Flintstones...they use to air it constantly on CN, TBS, and TNT. Now it isn't that much.

As for the Batman:TAS, I can never watch it. The mainstream can't see it as well, because it competes with King of the Hill on Sundays.

In its' bad timeslot, people who stay up at 2 am on Saturday are out and about. People who are in, sleep in order to go to church.

That's right, they're moving away from Scooby Doo and towards an 'all anime, all the time' channel. :P

But geez, it seems like they show Dex's lab at least 4 times a day (this might have decreased - I've basically stopped watching CN because of all their cheap animation (despite it being cheap they still send it overseas to be animated!) being plastered everywhere. And if I'm not seeing Cartoon Cartoons, they're airing something like DBZ.

I, too, am disgusted with the horrible timeslot they gave S:TAS and B:TAS. I think they should go back to the weekday Toonami. I loved how everyday I could count on S:TAS coming on at 6:30 in the evening right after I had finished dinner. ~Sigh~ The good ol' days. :(

Better yet, why not just get rid of all the stupid Toonami branding? Then we can get our intros back!

When did they start doing that anyway? I'm sure they used to show proper openings to shows.

Anyway I'd like to say I stayed home today and I had CN on in the background. In four hours they aired at least three Scooby related shows, A Pup Named Scooby Doo, Scooby and Scrappy (I think they showed two) and Scooby Doo Where Are You? (agaian I think there where two)

I know CN owns a lot of shows that don't even get one airing a day, and are not suitable for Boomerang (or at least aren't on Boomerang), besides no one gets Boomerang anyway. I don't.

Only grownups can get up to watch Batman/Superman at that hour! I'm pretty sure CN can try to fit in Batman/Superman into another timeslot. Like in the afternoon and move the other cartoon show to 2:00/3:00 AM

I agree. I really don't understand why Toonami doesn't show the intros like they used to. I'm sure they don't take up that much time.

(And yes, I also think this timeslot stinks, Green Hornet.)

Well, not everything on Toonami is crap, but enough of it is *COUGHDBZCOUGH* that Batman and Superman could easily be fit into a reasonable time.
