Well...DC does have icons like Superman and Batman. And ELSEWORLDS. But no. DC doesn't NEED a KNIGHTS-like line, because they already feature a few characters in multiple books. Batman shows up in 12 or 13 of them, as does Superman. DC has JSA, JLA, YOUNG JUSTICE...etc.

Yep, its called the Vertigo line. Blows the Marvel stuff out of the water, IMO.

My g/f collects 100 Bullets, and I read her issues when I remember to.

Yep, and Azzarello is a great writer - I'm enjoying his work on Hellblazer as well. He's a cool guy - my g/f had been hunting for one of the issues of his previous mini-series, and she couldn't find it anywhere. She mentioned this to him at a convention, and he found a copy of th issue for her, signed it, and gave it to her for free! And his wife, Jill Thompson, is a cutie!

I think it's one of the better titles on Vertigo. People look at me funny when I say it. I've never found anyone else who reads it

I've always wanted to get into Vertigo. I'm a fan of books like POWERS, so would I like 100 BULLETS? Thanks.
As for Marvel Knights...yeah, it's a pity DC can't do something like that with its mainstream characters. I mean, they sorta have that thing going with titles like THE FLASH, but they need a seperate line to hype that sorta stuff. I mean, no one really knew that FLASH was getting re-hauled until the hype built later on, and then of course readers felt alienated because they think it'd be too hard to pick up.

Yeah, but I mean that same type of stories. I really like crime/cop stories. It may seem stupid to ask, but 100 BULLETS is one of those kinds of books, right?

Yep, that's basically what it is - its got that sort of film noir feel to it - much like Frank Miller's Sin City.
