A couple of those I've never heard of, but I used to watch Acapulco H.E.A.T. all the time. Haha!!! Beastmaster should be higher, though. And frankly, I think Mutant X, Andromeda, and Adventure, Inc. (sorry, Michael Biehn) should be on there, too.

But I disagree about Renegade being on there. At least it's down low, but I thought it was actually a fairly decent action series and watched it for much of its run.

Oy, I remember Superforce. I really liked that show, though I think it suffered from faulty viewership targeting. The action would've made it great for kids, but the violence factor was a *hair* too much at times.

I actually thought Mutant X was OK up to the last season, when John Shea and Lauren Lee Smith left. Without Adam, the team had no anchor and without Emma, the Molecular/Feral/Elemental/Psionic balance was thrown off, and the show became disjointed. I prefer to imagine that season 3 of Mutant X never existed.

Mutant X would've been a cool show if they only had a budget higher than 10 bucks.

There was actually a V.I.P. videogame made in 2002, which surely made Jesus cry.

...I sadly own this.

Who makes up these lists, anyway? A bunch of cynical nerds?;) :p

I used to watch T & T every week---at least when 1st run eps aired---and it was pretty cool. People forget that this was Mr. T's 1st series after A-Team & his self-titled toon ended the same year ('87). I also disagree with Renegade & Sinbad being on the list. Posers.

I only remember a few of those shows.

I do remember that back then it seemed like every well-known adventure hero from legend or literature seemed to be getting a show to ape Hercules. In addition to Sinbad and Conan, there were also shows about Tarzan and Robin Hood. The Robin Hood one was kind of weird because it seemed like they were trying to make Robin Hood more cool and badass by getting rid of the tights and hat and making his outfit all black instead of green, while also forgetting that shows like this just aren't really very badass to begin with.

There's a reason why Baywatch Nights failed. Take Baywatch, remove the fanservice, and you lose 90% of the reason that the original show was so popular in the first place. (don't ask me where I came up with that exact percentage, just trust me on it. :p )

Sort of on the same topic, I never got to see VIP when it first aired. It didn't air on syndication in my market.

I would catch Queen of Swords mostly for the leading lady, uber hot she was. I know of Renegade, my brother was quite the fan of it when he was a kid, I never saw a full episode of VIP, and Conan was even worse, that piece of crap should be way higher. It was only really rivaled by Beastmaster. Baywatch Nights..hmm don't really remember that one to well, I do remember Baywatch Hawaii though. I actually thought Sinbad wasn't super bad the first season, but then they recast everyone and then it got almost Conan levels of crap.

Where's Night Man and Mantis Man? They should be on the list.

I have this, too. It's, I guess interesting is the way to put it. It's kind of like someone gave a very vague description of standard video game mechanics to people who had never seen a video game and then let them figure the rest out on their own. The way this plays is what they might come up with.

m.a.n.t.i.s was on Fox, not syndicated. But Thunder in Paradise should've made the list hands down.

I'm actually surprised it didn't, now that you mention it, though it was one of my favorite '90s syndicated series.

Wow I didn't know Mr T had his own TV show.It looks really stupid yet after watching the opening I somewhat compeled in watching it. Anyone knows if the show is out on DVD? Also I never seen Queen of Swords but that opening does make the series look like Zorro with breasts.

Was Beastmaster really that bad? I loved the 80's movie, and the fact that it lasted more than one season gave me hope that it might actually be good when I got around to checking it out on DVD.

Was Beastmaster really that bad? I loved the 80's movie, and the fact that it lasted more than one season gave me hope that it might actually be good when I got around to checking it out on DVD.

I personally just found the series boring, and it seemed to be a reboot more than anything else. I don't know if that was the intention, but that's the impression I got. Dar seemed too much of a surfer dude to me, and his annoying sidekick didn't help, either. Not even an appearance by the original Dar, Marc Singer, later in the series could get me to tune in.

On the other hand, I didn't think Conan was all that bad. I never watched it regularly, but whenever I did happen to see it, I got the impression that (unlike shows such as Hercules and Xena) Conan was never trying to be "campy fun," but instead was trying to be a little more of a serious action-adventure series. And at least the lead, Ralf Moeller, looked like the character he was protraying, unlike Kevin Sorbo as Hercules.
