Use Your Illusion I & II were both released by Guns N' Roses and are considered to be the band's best material.IMO they are.The albums are noticable for because they were both released on the same day and the also because Use Your Illusion II is,to date, the last album of orginal material from the band(1993's "The Spaghetti Incident?" was a cover album) until Chinese Democracy comes out.For my fellow GNR fan on here, what are your favorite songs on the album(s)?Mine are:

November Rain(I)
Dont Cry(I)
Live and Let Die(I)
Estranged(II)
Civil War(II)
Garden of Eden(I)
My World(II)
Knockin On Heavens Door(II)
Coma(I)
You Could Be Mine(II)

Eh, I like Appetite better for some reason. I'm in the camp that believes Use Your Illusion could have been one of the best single rock albums of all time, but as a double album there's a bit of filler in there. But my favorite songs from Use Your Illusion are Civil War, the Knockin' on Heaven's Door cover, November Rain (of course), Shotgun Blue and Get in the Ring. I like Get in the Ring so much that if this board had slightly more relaxed rules I'd use a portion of it, the challenge to Bob Guccione Jr., as my sig.

Everyone I've ever heard talk about this band always mentions 'Appetite For Destruction' as their best album. Critically it's always on a lot of top music lists.

Not to take anything away from these albums, but I've always heard it said that it would be their best if they took the best tracks from each album and made one album with them.

Yeah, from everything I've heard, Appetite's typically considered the favorite, including from me. I thought that the Illusions were a bit softer and slower than Appetite, and lost a bit of the attitude that made me love their debut. Even then, the first was pretty good, but I'm not too big on the second, although I do love "You Could Be Mine".
