Oh, wow! Thanks for the reminder. Been so used to not watching it because of summer I forgot about it.

I read that last week's premiere got the series' lowest ratings yet, but still won the night for Fox. Hopefully things will improve, because I'd hate to see the series get canned just when it's getting really good. :)

Besides Monday Night Football, what else would be there for people to watch that isn't boring or predictable?

I've decided that I want that droning Terminator theme for my ringtone. :p

Well, this episode wasn't quite as enthralling as last week's, but that's ok. I'm wondering what's really up with Cameron. She acts like she's still one fry short of a Happy Meal.

Did anyone else find it odd that the Terminator that replaced the power plant manager somehow had his face and body? I was assuming it was either the T-1000 from last week or another T-1000, but then we saw an endoskeleton after Cameron pushed him into all the electrical equipment. I don't quite see how an older model could take his identity like that unless he went through all the plastic surgery nonsense that Cromartie went through last season.

I'm not sure what I think about John's new girlfriend. On the one hand, I'm glad that it didn't turn out to be the lab partner from last season with the mysterious past (a past that I found myself not caring about in the slightest), but on the other, that whole thing just happened so fast and easily. I mean, she just met him and then she spends the night in his room? Where can I find women that trust me that quickly? :p It seems fairly obvious that they didn't do anything, but still.....

Hmm, I guess I can only think of the puzzling stuff to talk about today. Don't construe this as a sign that I didn't like the episode!

It was neat seeing Paul Schulze (aka 24’s Ryan Chappelle) appear in this episode as the ill-fated Carl Greenway. I recognized actor Dean Norris as the plant manager too, but I’m guessing he was less exciting for most people. I guess the plant meltdown or near meltdown allowed “Mr. Bradbury” to take it over which certainly can’t help the resistance in the future. How many companies is this Catherine the T-1001 running? The change back was a little too much for the viewer; I can’t believe it would change to another form when it was just leaving the plant.

I’m concerned about Cameron too. She was a bit odd to begin with, but her delayed reactions to Sarah in the plant concern me.

I felt like I missed something with Agent Ellison and the Dixons, but it seems like Charley and his wife are headed out of town to live in a town without any Terminators. I guess Ellison is still on leave.

John sure took to Riley quickly (and her to him). Clearly Sarah was not very happy with her visit. I’m intrigued as to what she means to John and how their pairing will develop or if it will be allowed to. He’s seemingly grown up a lot; he’s a lot more defiant now than I felt he ever was before.

A time traveler did it!

Not bad. Cameron clearly still has something of a problem, so it'll be interesting to see what happens with her in coming episodes. (Her playing pool was pretty funny, though.) I don't particularly care for the idea of adding a girlfriend for John, at least this soon. Might have been better if they had eased her into the show more slowly. It seemed kind of forced. And I kept waiting to see what Catherine Weaver was up to since the episode description mentioned her. I started thinking maybe her appearance was cut for time or something. Kudos to Lena Headey's decon scene, too. :D And poor Scut Farkus didn't last very long. :p

And yes, Penguin, it's always nice to see Dean Norris. :)

my only weak guess is that the terminator was designed in the future to look specifically like the plant worker to act as a doppleganger for the meltdown plot.

Blurgity Blurg-Blurg, how can that be? Its competitors are Deal or No Deal, Gossip Girl and How I Met Your Mother. If you want actual entertainment, there's nowhere else to go.

That was the fastest I've ever seen a machine taken out. One fireworks display and it was permanently nonfunctional...they didn't build that one very well. Cromartie survived without a head.

Riley is a Terminator whose strategy is to get close to John. The only reason a girl would glom onto you like that was if she wanted to kill you.

This was just terrible. The slick production values may fool some people into thinking this show is better than it really is, but the writing is truly awful. Despite giving John an edgier haircut, they somehow managed to make him emo'er than ever. It's difficult to side with characters who are so utterly unlikable, and having him make a new human friend only seemed to make matters worse, as this pushy, seemingly unhinged stalker type was an even more unsympathetic character. I guess that's all $20 buys you these days, though. Stupid inflation. Either way, it was pretty awful having this completely authenticity-deprived, somewhat creepy "friendship" jammed down my throat, and it's obviously something they're going to persevere with.

I got bored and kind of last track of the wafer-thin plot, so I'm not really sure if it made any sense that the new Teminator was just a "regular" model, but had still managed to impersonate... Chappelle? Either way, it certainly wasn't very resilient. Remember when Terminators used to be virtually unstoppable killing machines?

Show of hands; who didn't guess we'd be treated to an involuntary Sarah shower scene the second the concept of being "crapped up" was introduced?

This week the show earned a 3.5/6 rating, and was beaten by reruns of How I Met Your Mother and Bing Bang Theory. I don't think we're at the bottom yet, but we might be edging closer to a cancellation announcement.
